But if they ever decide they wanna give it a shot, they know where to find us, it's cool.
I'm sorry I don't know where to find you. You don't have a product on shelves.

Anyone know any other place I could find the DVD version?

I think our best bet is if a few people get early copies of RB2 and they upload Shacklers to
the net or Youtube. The hoarders either don't have it or won't get off it. I'm thinking if they had it would have
dropped by now.
Maybe they have it but don't know it. I mean they may have a bunch of tracks that they don't know the names of and for all they know one might be Shackler. I mean for all we know the words Shackler's Revenge are never sung in the song so they don't know which track it could be.

Now if this tour does indeed get canceled, well you guys know whats happening...
No chance, absolutely zero, that Bucket cancels a tour. First, he hasn't toured in two years. Second, he doesn't disappoint fans like that.
didn't axl blame BH for cancelling shows in 04?
And those shows in 2001 he "didn't know about". It was blamed on Bucket being sick.

Konami sues Harmonix, Viacom, and MTV over Rock Band
by Nilay Patel, posted Jul 11th 2008 at 1:17AMAlright, this is getting a little silly. First it was Gibson claiming that Rock Band and Guitar Hero violated a patent covering "simulating a musical performance," and now Konami is suing Harmonix, Viacom, and MTV Game because Rock Band allegedly violates a similar set of patents covering "simulated musical instruments" and "musical rhythm-based matching games." Filed in good ol' Marshall, the suit seeks the big green in damages and an order preventing the sale of Rock Band's instruments. Interestingly, Gamasutra noticed last year that the fine print on Activision's Guitar Hero homepage says the game is covered by the Konami patents in question, so it appears that Activision's managed to reach a licensing agreement with Konami -- which, if true, doesn't necessarily bode well for Harmonix and company. No one's commenting yet, but we hear Harmonix's lawyers are furiously punching in the old up-up-down-down trying to get this to go away.

Obviously nothing is concrete about this whole thing yet, but wouldn't that just be the way for GNR and their fans? Get ready to finally come to market and they are rumored to be aligned with something that may go into litigation!
Nothing will happen about this to delay the release of this game. Activision and Harmonix have been getting sued for a while now about all the guitar stuff. Gibson tried suing Activision and that turned out to be fruitless. So will this.

PaSnow wrote:It's more of a cliche, but I meant this album could launch metallica into the U2, Aerosmith legendary category.
I thought Metallica reached that category years, years and even more years ago?
Guns N' Roses reached it with the Use Your Illusion records and Metallica did it Black Album - at least according to the general public.
I'd say that they reached it way before that.
But say if Metallica and U2 did co-headline tour. Metallica would open. Metallica are on the second top tier. U2, Led Zep, Aerosmith, Rolling Stones are on the ultimate as high as you can get tier.

I just walked past the iPhone line near my work and made fun of all of them. I was wearing my Robin Finck t-shirt at the time, does that help the "Most Dangerous Band" thing?
Most definetly. Now we just need to piss off a couple of cities by causing a GN'R Online Fandom induced riot and the title is won back.

Dr. Pepper? Video Game rumors? Stolen bicycles?
WTF ever happened to "the most dangerous band in the world?"
.......sigh
Playing video games whilst on a bike can be dangerous.
