The Finck/Stinson profiles are much less "personal" than the other profiles in question.

When ITW leaked, the GNR people went to youtube at once and got rid of the bootleg recordings of most stuff, especially the ITW jam disappeared quickly

Now the song needs to keep doing well. It's riding a lot on people being curious. To say people are all negative is a downright lie. There are many positive reviews also, regardless of what I think of the song or others think of the song. I've seen more positive than negative, surprisingly enough because the song IS a gamble. It was never a big gun and it was never in my mind considered to be a single. If this song can be a hit, then all the songs can be hits.
The layer issue I might agree with...but it depends on whos listening.

God I hate those people who likes RIR3 CD songs because "that's what they should sound like and anything else is not good".
Some people should just not be allowed to listen to either demo tracks or live versions of unreleased songs. Seriously.
#2855 Re: Guns N' Roses » Not So Surreal Feeling... » 870 weeks ago
Fuck...when I started being into Chinese Democracy and promoting it I was 19 years old. I'm almost 28 now. I worked hard for this album, telling people, making copies...playing a low quality version of Madagascar to people and writing hundreds, maybe thousands of long posts defending the process and Axl Rose and this.
I'm actually a bit tired of doing so.
I can say that my gut feeling all those years ago was right, Axl could deliver an album worthy of the name and all the players in the band are really good musicians.
In the end, I was right but I'm too tired to go into it again and have all the conversations all over again.
Sort of like winning world war two, you celebrate that you won and the next morning you wake up and think; "we won, but at what cost?".
Haha.
Philosophical shit.

And This I Love? It's the most mythical tracks of ALL.

Nothing can really make up for so long time of waiting but afterall, it's just music...it's just songs.
Some people will never be happy...because they thought they would see the second coming or something...or have some form of enlightenment.
It's just rock music and for me the songs are absolutely great.
My girl loves the new stuff and she never liked old GNR anyway. Says a lot
#2859 Re: Guns N' Roses » Fernando vs Mysteron » 870 weeks ago
Mysteron was never *just* vague. He made that ticket thing working and what about Shacklers? He also made the Tommy interview happen.
I don't get the Mysteron bashing at all. If there's any idiot around with at least a fraction of inside scoop, it's him and he's been proving it several times too.
He may not get it right all the time...that street thing was a disaster..but I don't get why people are upset with him. It's like a whole fucking soap opera in its own.
