I haven't checked NIN's touring list but they are on the road and playing. Don't know where NIN are at the moment, but I guess they're on the east coast?
A friend of mine mailed me just now and told me he had gone to a NIN show and ran into Ron Thal. He knew him from earlier he told me and they chatted. My buddy also ran into what he said was GNR drummer. I guess Frank Ferrer or Brain.
So, both Ron Thal and Ferrer was at the show.
He didn't give me much more info than that, he told me the album was close to release but we all know that from earlier anyway.

I wouldn't regard him as weak and unstable person. If he was he would not be doing this in the first place. I would characterize him (and this is just guesses) as an insecure person with big issues with his past. I wouldn't talk shit about Beta. She's not very smart online it seems, but she took great care of Axl. God knows where he would be if it wasn't for her.

There are obviously rules broken here, but to do anything about it is not in the interest of either the band or the fans. I doesn't produce one bit of positivity.

The interest is indeed morbid. However, music is not as serious as some people want it to be. Im curious. If they wanna put it up there, I won't have anything against it. It's simply sound waves. Who gives a shit.

Wishful thinking IMO.
They can release an album without Robin, if they're not touring it. It is a situation they're in and it's hard to get out of that spot. Speaks for itself when they only stated they would handle it when it was time to handle it. It means they're in a tight spot and don't know what to do.
But Axl and Slash? Get back to me in 2 years with that question. GNR without Tommy Stinson? Nah.

Did anything actually THINK GNR would tour anytime soon? And did anyone actually THINK Finck would be back by October or whenever it was? He's busy for longer than this year, I'm quite sure about that.
