I find it super lame fans can't just be fans and cool out and share stuff.

This isn't my site but my two cents are I'd prefer those types are ignored so they can shove off to the company men forums.

I'll give it a listen before making a decision.

In all likelihood, I'm going to buy maybe $10 rarities ala carte off of iTunes.

Chicago is incredible. Maybe the best setlist they ever did. 9

Axl's shaved lady legs in that screen cap make me feel uncomfortable. 16

The old Guns videos depress me.

It's like watching Jordan in his prime and then cut to him bricking a dunk with the Wizards.

Such a badass band. Sounds great.

My point was it could be a lot worse.

Nirvana released a $129 box set in 2004 and didn't put out a $20 2CD until 2005. I've seen big movies wait years to put out director's cuts, bonus editions, or box sets in hopes of fans double or triple dipping. Video game companies rarely if ever launch the PC version alongside consoles. This is tame in comparison.

It's a money grab. Just like the money grab tour, money grab fashion event, and money grab merch factory.

I wanted CDII. I never wanted a reunion because I knew it'd be what it is.

The market dictates a lot but this is handled semi-tastefully.

They could've released the $150 Deluxe Edition first and tested hardcores' resolve. Then released the 2CD a year down the road. But you're getting options, you can get AFD if you want it, the 2CD if you want it, and so on so forth.

The $1000 box set disgusts me on a personal level but if you want to blow a grand on it be my guest.

I'm not sure why Don't Cry and those aren't included for consistency. These were written and recorded then so should be on it. This is less AFD Anniversary and more the GNR v1 box set. My guess is that was recorded at a different studio and is a rights issue. Or they're simply they're holding it back for the UYI.

When are we getting "Yellow Brick Road to Compton"? I've been waiting decades...

Really?

I actually was never big on the song, and understood completely why it was axed from AFD.

It is this fast, messy song. The production shouldn’t sound clean.

It’s like Motörhead. I want disproportionately high drum and vocal levels so it feels banging.

The things I remember from this song are the chugga-chugga riffing and sweeps so when I listen to the guitar track, it’s hard not to focus on those elements.

I’m not big on the song but the ~2:40 version from years past has a raw energy to it. Of course the “Wake up, time to play” thing is embarrassing.

This sounds well produced and aye the mix is not that auditory abortion that was Chinese but it also neuters the ferocity of the thing.

Erasure of the past is so in right now.

He should've just pasted the AFD cover over Chinese Democracy and re-released that.
