Surprisingly, I find UYIs more dated and inconsistent than AFD. I know I `m in the minority ( not that I care ) but I think CD is the second best right after AFD which is the best Guns` album in terms of consistency and production. UYIs and CD contain far superior songs but Appetite tracks flow much better, tracklisting is far superior to those of Illusions and Chinese.

You've listed 4 songs you deem 'great' and 3 songs that you feel are 'catchy', that's 7 on a twelve song album. I think you definitely highlighted the best of them, but for the life of me can't fathom how that would in any way constitute an overrated album. 7 out of 12 is an incredible ratio, especially if you consider that there's maybe only one song on there that's truly less-than-mediocre (you're crazy), IMHO.
Anyway... I voted RQ (seem tejas' explanation for the why...). But Nightrain, Jungle, Brownstone, PC and of course SCOM were all contenders for me.
AFD is overrated because big chunk of fanbase thinks it`s the greatest debut Rock album ever recorded. It is n`t, not even close.

Double album would work for me.

NIN blows. Downward Spiral and The Fragile are tolerable, everything else is either mediocre at best or complete rubbish at worst. Yet, Reznor is hailed as a genius, go figure.

Release everything that was recorded with Finck/Bucket as a box set and move on with Slash and Richard, they`re too good not to record new music. Axl has best guitar duo right now, I hope he won`t fuck it up this time and we`ll get an album soon.

This is one of the best GNR related side-projects, if not the best.

Some mygner "experts " have nerves to say Pitman is a bad musician :facepalm.

I`m for erasing Buckethead`s parts because a) he left 12 years ago and b) it will be an absolute mess if Slash`s solos are pasted on top of Bucket`s. No need to bury songs beneath ten guitars. Cohesiveness is necessary.

See my opinion on NIN in Finck thread.
#290 Re: Dust N' Bones & Cyborg Slunks » Robin Finck has been recording with composer Bill Brown » 464 weeks ago
He would be ideal for W.A.R. but was bad for Guns N`Roses.
I think he`s a gifted and creative guitarist ( even though I think Nine Inch Nails sucks dick and Trent is an overrated, pretentious bitch ) but his style does n`t fit Guns. He`s an industrial player, first and foremost, not a Bluesy Hard Rock soloist, he plays power chords and does guitar soundscapes, he does n`t play solos very often.
I would like to get my hands on so called " CDII" but I still think, as I`ve said before, hiring him as Slash`s replacement was Axl`s biggest mistake when it comes to " NewGNR".
