I think Axl is just trying to keep the unreleased, unapproved stuff as low key as possible.  Plus the record label would also have a problem with the leaks, its not just GNR.

yea hopefully he spends some time in jail.  it should be mandatory for DUI no matter who it is.

i have an NES emulator, they're fun for a blast from the past.   Mike Tyson's Punchout was always my favorite.   Zelda was fun too, I could never beat the second quest tho.

I'm definitely no expert on music memorabilia, but doesn't that type of stuff rotate to various areas? Like it would be in Vegas for a certain period of time, then another major city?

I'm fairly sure that that is true.  Also, I'm almost positive that when they open a new one somewhere, they move some of the memorabilia from other places to the new restaurant.  I thought I remember there being some sort of Hard Rock memorabilia home page where you could search for what stuff is where - but it's possibly that I totally dreamt that. hmm

it still kinda shitty that there was a case for slash and not for axl.  even if they moved it tongue  they had to have moved it somewhere..  but i think it belongs in vegas with me big_smile

In fairness to jarmo, if he didn't take the place to an extreme "Fan Only" direction, it'd probably overloaded with negatively and complaining about the band considering the past year, it is a different place for fans.

exactly.  look at what MyGnR and thats what would happen there if Jarmo didn't put his foot down.   Some people might like MYGNR and thats ok, im' not trying to bash it, but take a look at it and youll see its pretty much a place to bash axl rose and anyone associated with him or involved in the current Guns n roses lineup.

yea thats possible too, i honestly don't know.  I was really hoping the Axl stuff would still be there tho.  It was a couple months ago.

To try to steer the topic in a better direction now..

I noticed something last night at the Hard Rock which really bugged me.   Before there was this huge case of memorabilia.. anyone who went to the shows at The Joint last year should remember it.  On one side you had Axl's UYI jersey and leather kilt with some other clothes he wore on that tour, and on the other side you had Slash's guitar, leather jacket, top hat and there was a guitar in the middle of them signed by Duff, Slash, Gilby, the UYI guys.  Now its gone and there is only a smaller case for Slash and it had some different stuff in it.  I met up with PAsnow, the board member here, and I know he took a picture of it, maybe he'll post it when he gets back from vacation.  On top of that, there was another signed guitar from Slash in a completely different area of the casino.  Nothing for Axl that we could find sad   it kinda bummed me out.   I believe the old GnR display was replaced with something for James Brown or Prince, I forget.   It sucks to see Slash the only guy in GnR history being recognized there.

Atari, when did someone from the band say the mixing and mastering is done? Recording being done is not the same thing...

Mysteron said it was in the labels hands now, thats it, its just a presumption.

if its in the hands of the label, than the mixing and mastering has to be done.
