Hey Dave, are you talking about the list that was on one of the village leaks(notepad file)? It had phone numbers and or sometimes Facebook links to those people?
If u are then, I was on it too, but it had my wrong Facebook link
I still don't know who leaked the village stuff... or what the notepad files even mean.

I assume I was on it bc I posted a link I got via an email with the CITR leak on it.
I got it while I was at work, and everyone was on the forums asking for the leak bc a few people were hoarding it and just sharing clips, I saw it in my email and just said fuck it and posted it on HGTH and MYGNR open forum to share it, and got banned from both forums for it lol
I remember all the hoarders being pissed at me bc I shared it and they were trying to get other songs with it lol
The chairman stuff was super fun and the way the person leaked it was perfect, the slow drip gave us something new each day for like a week or two.
Just imagine with GNR did that with the CD stuff. Most of us hardcore fans would pay for those track if they were on a box set.

Someone just needs to leak out what is left out there and we can all call it a day on this band
Bc you know when the CD anniversary album comes out, all they will put on there is the lockerroom songs and nothing we dont already have just a a FU to the fans.

If u think about it... this song might be the last bit of hype this band will ever get .. (or album release) ...Buckethead coming back for a song or two on tour might build a buzz too... but neither of those things will happen anytime soon... I think they're just having fun with the social media fanbase. A sick kind of fun. What a weird way to announce the general btw. Like it was nothing. B side? I think Brian mantia, Tommy Stinson and a couple other people who heard the tune said it was a big gun.
Will it even be a big gun anymore? I could see them cutting the song down from a 7 min song to a 4 and half min song. I would not surprise me if they took an epic song and made it a short rocker. Just look at how they cut out the intro to Hard School, If the general has a long intro I could see them cutting it out. Also any great guitar work by BH and Finck will be gone. The general we hear wont be anything like the one Tommy and Baz talked about back in the day

Wasn’t it Axl’s stalker who broke into his house and stood over him while he was sleeping that gave out the address? Lol
I am not sure who leaked the info but I do remember that stalker fan.
The whole reason HTGTH blew up back then was because most of us went there after the RS GNR forum got shut down.

That is when I learned the second you criticize the band for the smallest thing or if you don't believe the lies the band points out there, then they will turn on you. I still found it funny when that "list" leaked out, my name was on it lol
MSL told me that management asked about me, if I was a source any of the leaks and he said nah he is just a huge fan lol
