I think this song is a mess of melodies, but my god it fucking kicks me in the ass.
I don't get the bitching about this not sounding like the old Guns..I mean..what the flying fuck where you expecting? It's been 20 years and 12 years since Slash took off. If it would sound like old Guns it would just be annoying considering the old band is not togheter anymore.
This song is cool.

It's a great song IMO. But very complex. CITR is indeed the best demo.

One thing I agree with, I trust the new managament. If they cant get it out, none will.

Im definetely waiting and seeing, although I doubt we're in for another Oh My God. They've had 9 years to correct that mistake, I'm sure at least one of them came up with something better. Haha.

Those who stay like the "no bullshit" vibe of this place.
Yup. I stayed away from GNR forums for a long time. I used to go to 2TI waaaay back but theres no one there anymore and then Jarmo is way to much of an arrogant prick for me to bother.
This place is perfect. Not over-run by idiots, not dead 6 days a week and people actually have good views and even give me credit when they agree with what I say.
Cant go wrong with that.

Me neither. If you're in demand and you have the time, do whatever you want. None of us would turn down a job that will supplement our income if we have the time and means to do it. Sure, we may turn something down if it's morally wrong or if we aren't qualified, but if they treat us with respect and pay us well we're going to do whatever they want us to do. Same goes for musicians...
Absolutely.

Yeah, but he's amazing. It's almost more respectable, to see a guy who doesn't pretend to have standards beyond the paycheck. Most others turn out to be hypocrites, and that's something that Josh could never be called. Imo, he's the best drummer GN'R has ever had. He even wrote the title track, (right?) which is one of the best songs in the decade of work on the album.
Absolutely right. I regard Brain as the better drummer but Josh Freese is damn good.

That's a huge no no for any respectable journalist.
Wasn't he just a forum guy?
I don't think he was a journalist. If he was he would be way smarter.

Damage control.
I don't really care what they say or who the guy is. He wasn't lying. He was in a position where he spoke what he thought. Maybe he read the boards maybe he got a friend or maybe he's just a guy that was confused as to what the fuck was going on and maybe he wasnt an employee in any fucking firm, but I've been around people enough to know that that guy wasn't lying when he spoke.
Listen to the tone of his voice, his facial expressions and hand gestures.
It's probably a load of shit what he says, but I dont question that HE believed what he said.
