Mission: Metallica is up and running fully as of now. More or less.
I just listened to Devil's Dance from last nights show in Poland and James Hetfield's voice was TIGHT!
Damn, did he sound good. (And a nice comeback for the song itself too)

The most important thing from that is "most songs have more than two solos" I'm happy
#2913 Re: Guns N' Roses » Chinese Democracy Starts...(Rumored GH Re-Release in June) » 891 weeks ago
Anybody seen the new tv advert for GH? I've just seen it now. It's just an animated (very similar to Queens of the Stone Age-Go with Flow video) Axl and Slash walking around with animations of Guns and Roses appearing around them with the hits playing in the background. They've got Axl doing some ridiculously over the top snake dance too
I can't find it on youtube. Any idea where I can find it?
#2914 Re: The Sunset Strip » 25 Most Rockin' Guitar Riffs » 891 weeks ago
I suppose these riffs are good but on the list of actual songs some of these after a few listens don't do much for me i.e. Smoke on the Water, Sweet Child, Enter Sandman
That being said whilst these songs are pretty dull for me because I've heard them 10 million times all these riffs themselves are damn good and fun to play.

Yeah but there's something about the way he does EVERYTHING that makes him look like a dick.

Yep.
So did Anthrax, Megadeth, and believe it or not, Sepultura. Speed metal was hitting the mainstream until MTV told us we had to suck Kurt Cobain's dick.
I knew Megadeth got some airplay for a short while like around 92, but I never knew it was like a time when all these bands were becoming the biggest thing on the planet.

Slayer got mainstream play?! I hate the music scene I've had to grow up with

Damn good video.

Makes sense. I mean god it's the only thing my grandparents ever play or have played. They get excited about playing it.
