What happened to choosing someone who will help the ticket? Remember those days?
Just curious, what’s your issue with Vance? I bought into the media hype that’s he’s a nut, but I was thoroughly impressed by him during the VP debate. I thought Walz was pretty good too. Left watching that wishing those were the two candidates for President. That gave Trump a boost in the polls after Kamala was gaining some momentum. Maybe anything would have been refreshing after watching the Trump/Biden and Trump/Harris debates though. The bar certainly wasn’t set very high.
Everything I’ve seen and heard from Vance though, I’ve been impressed with. Granted, it’s limited to the debate and some other clips here & there. But he seems well spoken, knowledgeable, accountable, etc.
Yeah, Vance has really shined this election.
People are saying the dems should have had a primary and elected somebody other than Harris. But does anyone actually believe they would have bypassed the sitting Vice President who happens to be a black woman for any other person?
This a great point. Kamala was the perfect DEI candidate. If you see any social media from liberals and Dems, you'll see people touting her alleged accomplishments. I don't really believe anything I hear...and I know she never actually won any real election. I know she was out before the first primary in 2020, I think. Her campaign was so gross, I do know that. While expressing a message of 'joy' and touting her 'record' as a VP who most Americans barely ever saw,
I would love to have been a fly on the wall regarding whatever happened behind the scenes with Dems. How did they arrive at this conclusion? Who actually had a say?
And where do the Dems go from here?

‘Soon’ is the word…
Why did this all happen?
When did GnR actually die?

That's hard to look at.

I’m still trying to figure out Virginia
Part of Virginia is a giant suburb of DC I think...so that explains that...development that only occurred over the past say 30-40 years?
Colorado (and New Mexico) is a different story. From what little I know...these states were infiltrated by tons of Latino immigrants over the past couple decades. So I think that somewhat explains it.

They're just Trump loyalists and he doesn't want to have to worry about someone he appointed coming from behind and shiving him or making the agenda not the focus.
I have a lot of crow to eat for what I believed during his first term and I am going to try very hard to never get emotional about politics again. I don't blame him for not wanting to always be looking over his shoulder at the people he appointed.
I cannot vote for another Democrat if they continue on this path. I will not be a part of this until they start purging these absolute misinformed psychopaths. Trump needs to kill WOKE dead. It needs to be stomped to death. I don't know if it's possible, but that's what is needed. DEI is a big fucking joke and as someone who hires a lot of college girls fresh out of school, I can tell you these people are total wimps. They cannot handle anything and somehow they have a college degree. Absolutely no initiative and constant hand holding...it never ends and all they care about is social rewards. There is almost know interest in the actual job...it's all about social lives and chit chatting.
How can they charge so much for a college education and they come out totally useless??? Competence and merit mean nothing to these people. We're all equal and I, as their boss, what I say ought to be held on the same level as someone fresh out of college.
I'm disgusted what this DEI agenda has delivered. From the average totally uninformed college kid to the perfect DEI presidential candidate...WOKE has got to go...it's getting us nowhere fast. These girls feel totally entitled to do and say whatever they want and not be held accountable for it.
Is there any fixing this?

I know it’s only been a couple days…but what is trump’s economic plan?
I’m uncertain as to how the Democrats can call themselves the party of the middle class anymore, but they still attempt to…
Taxing the shit out of people and policies that create inflation? What a fucked up last 5 years it’s been.

Progressives AND Liberals!
Their arrogance and smugness surrounding everything political became unbearable…i can’t believe how the people of tolerance and compassion were totally incapable of listening.
And the hypocrisy…my god…don’t tell me you’re the protectors of democracy while you anoint your candidate and skip the primaries…because minority women are here to get revenge on the evil white men.
Kamala was the ULTIMATE DEI candidate. At least Hillary had a shit ton of experience despite being unlikeable. Kamala was just…there…saying stupid shit like ‘I’m speaking…’
A Hillary presidency would have been interesting. Could have gone either way.
Kamala would just be Biden 2.
Not excited Trump won, but I suppose it's the better outcome.
I voted for Hillary but i wasn’t pumping my fist about it.
However, she was totally qualified imho

Yeah it's over.
They've known for hours.
Looking back on tonight, it became obvious early on that something weird was going on. The statistics weren't adding up like originally thought. I think Georgia might have been the first sign.
Polls are garbage now. Too easy to manipulate and just say whatever the hell they want them to say.
This is the real scam of this cycle…and who will trust any polls going forward?! It’s pretty clear now that being accurate is not the game…it’s about keeping you checking in on the polls everyday like an addict looking for meaningless changes in your candidate’s direction.

QUICK somebody get a cooler full of mail in ballots to PA STAT
Statements like this make me feel like I should've voted for Harris. If we can't agree that the orange guy lost in 2020, then what common ground do we have? Trump lost the 2020 election. I voted for that crazy guy today. How do you expect to bring aboard people like me? This tocix cycle is doomed to repeat itself again no matter who is running. Does anyone on this forum really think he won in 2020?
Relax…it was a joke! It is curious that we knew on election night who won this time, tho. It is fuel for conspiracy theorists.
I did find a bunch of ballots in my cooler tho.
