I agree with what was said, Slash is a stage name... any legal binding document would have to be signed by Saul Hudson which makes me think this isn't accurate

If you look at this lawsuit that Slash and Duff filed against Axl in 2004, you'll see that the first page mentions their legal names and also states p/k/a Slash, and p/k/a Duff.  P/k/a is "professionally known as".  Once their professional names are established on the first page of the suit, the rest of the document refers to them by their professional names.

Putting out albums has nothing to do with if you're done creatively.

There's plenty of artists who have loads of material that isn't released. Look at Prince. His vault makes Axl's look like a foot locker.

I have to agree with ID here.  Writing and creating music is one thing.  It's a purely artistic endeavor.  Putting out an album, once it's been created, goes beyond the artistic side of things into the business side.

I'm not convinced it's a finalized remix.  Regardless, I love the hook from Axl.

Thanks.  That was very interesting!

I hadn't seen that article before, actually.  Thanks for posting.

I, for one, appreciate the fact that Axl is an animal person.  I have two cats and a dog right now, and am looking at adopting another dog.

The wolves and wallabies may be a bit much even for me, though smile

Or it could be just a one-off at a major festival.

Axl looks terrible. Duff 1993 horrendous.

See his fingers? That's edema folks. Axl's got a drinking problem something fierce.

It could be edema, but there are other root causes for edema than liver-related issues.

WHoops, my bad. I just glanced at it on my phone and assumed it was the official page.

I went to the show -- it was great. Axl's voice isn't nearly as bad live, and the crowd was very much into it. Well worth the 400 bucks I dropped on two tickets. No way I would have missed them on my birthday. Seeing them in that venue is the way to go.

I saw the last two shows of the Vegas residency and it was a fantastic experience.  Everyone sounded great.  Same type of the venue and it was a great way to go.  Had they played in Austin I might have gone to see the show and visit some old friends there.  Glad Texas is getting a bunch of shows....except for Lubbock 16

by apologist, i mean u have hundreds upon hundreds of terrible reviews and people completely dismiss those as "Whatever" like they just purposely are hating on the band etc

Axl honestly doesn't sound "THAT" bad but once again, he is supposed to be "MOVING FUCKING FORWARD" and he is doing anything but

that is why I am through with this incarnation of GNR *unless an album, new song, music etc*

Axl has turned into what I never thought he'd be and I am just highly disappointed.

It goes both ways.  There are many, many positive reviews (see Ticketmaster reviews of GN'R shows for instance) that are dismissed as well by some, perhaps those of a more critical or negative perception of the current state of the band.

From what I could tell, which is not always accurate given the variability in fan-recorded bootlegs, he sounded fine on the recordings I heard from Rocklahoma.

Actually I think being "through" or taking a break from following the band if you're not satisfied with where things are at is a lot better a choice than hanging around the boards and complaining time and again if for no other reason than it is highly unlikely to make a damn bit of difference.  If it did, we would've seen CD released much sooner.
