Give this thing a couple of more years and I've spent my twenties waiting for this thing. When it's released I will probably be married, have a few kids and not being able to go to one damn show. I cant picture it all now.

i somehow don't think Axl will be replacing Robin just for the potential tour...
they canceled the SA shows last year because of Tommy being unavailable to play, and he's a bass player, and it was only two shows....and they wouldn't replace him just for that small tour....
then they won't replace Robin either...something smelly is cooking up inside Axl's organisation, and I will bet you that he is sitting all depressed about it now....thinking something along the lines of...
"just when i start to get things right...they do this to me again"....he's probably got Del and Beta sitting there, holding his hand while he's busy having another meltdown of some sort because of this...
I honestly think that they were as surprised with this as we all are, and that they are currently trading extra long phone calls between lawyers, themselves and Robin, trying to find out wtf is going on, why is it happening...
panic stations at gnr....
and we won't hear anything until they themselves know what has happened, and then they will word it in such a way so as to appear like it was a planned departure/sick leave/something do to all along....

Agreed. It took them a short amount of time to respond to Dr. Pepper but can't seem to respond to Robin Finck potentially leaving the band.
Sort of like the President responding to a question about his sudden hairloss but don't seem mention that we're all being nuked by Russia.

You know, the way that blog thing is written, it sounds almost Bucketheadish. "Never before have a soda been so disrespected".
It's beyond stupid.
But I vote for NOT giving Finck his soda.
GNR just seemed to loose their #1 guitar player, song writer and lead guitarist and people think it's not a big deal. Would even Axl think about touring an album that doesnt even contain the people who wrote it?

i don't blame you for feeling that way. it's really wierd predicting that they will. beleive me, it's only the new management that is making me think they will update us.
That's true. I expect something, but Im not holding my breath for it so to speak.
