What was on C?
EDIT: Nevermind. I figured I wouldn't have missed a different cover.

It looks like there are arrows pointing the opposite direction where the bike is going. Perhaps that's a way to tell Chinese people to go against the grain? Just a thought.

Yeah, let's hope that's the shitty one. There's AFD and UYI 1/2... this is more like TSI.

I knew deep down it'd be one album, but I won't lie and act as though I'm not upset that it never turned out to be three.

As junked or drunk as Slash is here, this is one of the truest interviews to where GNR were and how it all ended as any I've seen. Nice find.

Ah man,
Completely forgot about Fulci! True that, The Beyond is a wonderful little film, and definitely his finest hour.
Ruggero Deodato's Cannibal Holocaust (1980), the Blair Witch precursor, is also a must-see, as it coins the cannibal genre neatly.
Mario Bava also deserves a mention, Black Sunday (1960) is probably the one which is touted most.
I would be sure to tell him to make sure he could handle Cannibal Holocaust before he stepped anywhere near it.
It's a personal favorite of mine, but that one may go a bit far for a guy who has only seen NOES movies.

If you have to write about these movies, it'd be most interesting to make sure to pick out movies that actually have something to write about. Frankenstein, Bride of Frankenstein, Nosferatu, The Evil Dead, Hellraiser, Halloween, Dracula, Horror of Dracula, Dawn of the Dead '78, The Exorcist, The Beyond, Suspiria, Rabid (albeit you'd have to look up some Canadian history with this one) and Texas Chainsaw and the original Wicker Man could all be interesting choices.
Basically if you steer clear of 80s sequel stuff (I am definitely not going on record saying it's bad, but I wouldn't necessarily want to write an essay about it when if I wasn't a hardcore fan of the genre). The movies I list give a good balance between gothic, foreign, silent, gore, action, real-life inspirations and the occult. Not to mention, most importantly, powerful films.

But if they were to reunite, that doesn't mean that Axl has to march to the drum of Slash & Duff. THEY would have to accept he goes on at midnight. They would have to accept he doesn't rehearse. And Axl would have to accept their artistic integrity in the studio, and not be a perfectionist with another artist's work.
But, we all know Slash doesn't want to go on stage late every damn night and that Axl thinks GNR is his solo project. The personalities are so different. I think Slash wants to put out albums and how is that going to happen with Axl? Axl can't even put out an album he has 100% control over.
Virtually no one will work with Axl Rose for an extended period of time, except those who are famous only because of him. I think Axl and Slash and all the guys could be friends again, other than Slash and Axl (not sure about Duff and Axl), they're all friendly-ish again. But, working with Axl is another can of worms. Could they get through a tour together? Maybe. An album? I dunno. Why would Slash want to tour Chinese Democracy anyways? It's what he'd be doing in a roundabout way. Maybe his ideal that touring is just playing for the sake of playing would help that out.
This all benefits Axl Rose, really does nothing for the other guys except make them money, which they all have enough of anyways.

The problem with people sort of thinking a reunion is happening... I'm not saying one would never happen. All I know is Axl Rose is still crazy and still going onstage late. Unless there's contract clauses thrown in by Slash and the boys this time, I don't think it will happen. Axl has to show up for rehearsal, has to show up for jams, has to show up on stage on time, etc...
It's easy to think "yeah... Axl needs a guitarist and a bassist, wow, Slash and Duff!" but that's not a reunion. Adler or Sorum would have to be there for it to be anywhere close. And, I doubt Izzy would have any part of it. Chinese Democracy... and a reunion tour? How does this work? If they play CD stuff, do they play VR stuff? It's really complicated at this point.
#310 Re: Guns N' Roses » IGN reviews "Shackler's Revenge" » 875 weeks ago
To be fair, IGN hit the nail on the head in one sentence; the one regarding it most likely wouldn't stand the test of time. That is my main qualm with the song, other than the repetitiveness. And, with GNR, that's important to me. Most of their tunes are timeless.
