You're so naive and arrogant. I happen to recall a show I went to in 2010 that was fucking awesome. Take your "facts" about me DCK and shove'em. You don't know shit about what I think and you've made that pretty clear. And even suggesting I need to "find another band" as though my sole focus in music is Guns N' Roses is hilarious. Yeah man I need to find another band cause my music taste isn't varied enough.
You should ignore the provocators. They have nothing better to do than trolling in the topics. It clearly shows that the band doesn't do enough to get their attention, so they are looking for fights. Ignore them.
Provocators? LOL, I repeat - a massive LOL. Especially coming from you Mikka, the master of passive aggressive statements and a wide truck load of GNR assumptions.
Nice use of words though Bono, very mature. So, paddling back on that 2006 thing and last time you had fun was in fact 2010. Good then. My question is answered.

History, biography, world war two. One mans participation in the war in the European skies.

If you haven't had fun since 2006, I would take that as a strong point to quit and find another band.

Here's one book you should buy quickly and read;

The only mind blowing thing about that fact is they have nothing to show for it. Not even ONE song. Anyone who doesn't believe GNR quickly morphed into nothing but a nostalgia act needs to look at that statistic.
In half that time frame, Soundgarden released a greatest hits set including live songs and a new song, a live album, a new song for a soundtrack, and recorded a new album in between a tour AND a Cornell solo tour.
They simply have no desire to move forward in any capacity. The well that contained a million excuses is bone dry.
Question: I don't go to any other GNR sites anymore. Are there still people in such denial that they attempt to rationalize the situation with bat shit insane excuses?
So what does it give you then, being here.

Mikkamakka wrote:Sky Dog wrote:Mikka, you can tell Axl likes the booze...no doubt. But, to compare Axl and Tommy to Steven is idiotic. Steven is a fuckin moron. Plain and simple.
Being a moron or drinking too much booze are different things. I think Axl and especially Tommy are drinking much more than Steven these days. Steven is still brain-dead though.
monkey: I don't know if drinking effects Axl's work. I'd say yes, to a degree, cause his drunk accidents effect the shows for sure. I don't know if his drinking habit will further delay any album that is or isn't in his plans. If there is any plan except drinking a lot of tequila. But anyone who drinks this much that changes even his face, has a drinking problem.
Some of you guys here think that Axl met some fans and he happened to share drinks with them. I think he went to party and drink and some fans happened to be there. It's hard to go to any place and not find GN'R fans. He didn't run away, but drank with whoever was there. If it's the fan friendly moment for you, then be it. I don't share this opinion. I would agree with you more, if Axl wouldn't avoid their own meet and greets and backstage parties.
No offense, but without knowing the people you mention and spending time with them on ANY basis, frequent or otherwise, how can you have any reasonable basis to make such an assessment?

He calls it "knowledge".
Don't bother mate, it's a waste of time trying to talk sense. Just let it go and focus on those things which are worth discussing.
Besides, haven't you heard? YouTube is a better way of knowing people than concepts like "friends" which is so outdated.
So Axl drinks alcohol. So do I.

Without going all crazy and "hurt", maybe you could point to a few things over the past years, if not the last decade, that you found positive and also wrote in positive terms about?
#308 Re: Guns N' Roses » so what did i miss? » 677 weeks ago
Joking aside, it looks like the tour is running very smoothly, and Tel Aviv looked like a good show with a very enthusiastic crowd. GNR is having their summer fun at the moment, and I'd like that too.
#309 Re: Guns N' Roses » so what did i miss? » 677 weeks ago
Axl has become an alcoholic with deep emotional issues as we saw him drinking shots on YouTube.
Other than that, it all sucks as normal - so it's the basic routine.

But to just assume Axl has "a drinking problem" without knowing the dude seems a bit much.
And that is why I usually stay off the GNR forum. Armchair Axl experts claiming this and that from looking at YouTube videos.
