Pick up Jared Cook TE Packers if you want a sleeper pick.

You want in Wagszilla? We've got an opening?

Yeah, I'll come back next year...just not into it this year.  Too many other things I am doing right now.

Alright. Sorry for the last minute change. I was at a workshop all day and didn't get home until late. Hope it wasn't too much of an inconvenience for you or anyone else.

I just quit the league...works better for me and maybe for you too.

You sure? I can work on getting another team. I've actually started the process. If you can't make the draft, you can just auto draft. I'm sure you won't be the only one.

I know this is last minute, but I decided to push the draft back to next Tuesday. Sorry buzz. Hope you can find a way to be there, or at least pre-rank your players if you'd like. I'm working on evening out the divisions. We had 7 Evo teams and 5 HTGTH and I got a commitment from one more guy over on HTGTH just today. So I now need 1 more, which I will work on, hence moving the draft date back.

Sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused.

It's that time again! I renewed the league awhile back and I think everyone is good to go. I set the draft up for this coming Wednesday night, but that's a pretty quick turnaround. I could move it back to Labor Day, or the day after. Give us a little more time. Thoughts? Is everyone still in?

I look forward to defending my title!

Hell, I'd want Breakdown over a lot of what they currently play. Just shows you ...

Love that song! That'd definitely be played at my dream concert. In s stadium of 50k though, me and about 1000 others would be the only ones to get excited once Axl started to whistle the beginning of the song. And a portion of those might think it's Patience on top of that.

Yes, he had lot to prove. Instead of shoving down everyone`s throat album he had been working on for years, he pussed out because Ezrin told him he did n`t have enough good songs.
Funny how other bands and artists are able to put out music while everyone is out ta get Axl.

Other bands and artists have trouble with their labels and getting music out. It's not something exclusive to GNR. Not many other bands were once one of the most popular acts in the music industry that disbanded and the lead singer continued on with an entirely new cast of characters. It's pretty hard to find a fair comparison, but you can try if you'd like.

All this talk about Label turning down the album are just rumours and hearsays. There is no concrete evidence to support the claim.
Axl could have easily found a way to release music if he had wanted all these years. He just can`t be bothered anymore despite what he says.

What you call rumors and hearsay, others refer to as personal accounts from people who were intimately involved in the project. And I disagree with your opinion about Axl easily being able to release the album. I think it was anything but easy to relaunch an entirely new lineup and get people to buy into it still being GNR. From fans, to media members, to record execs. He had a lot to prove.

Right, but according to Tommy, after "rejecting" the album, they brought in Roy Thomas Baker to re-record the album numerous times. They didn't say, it's not good enough, get better songs. They just had him re-record it ad nauseum to get a better sound. In Tommy's own words that was an enormous waste of time and they received very little help from the label. Maybe they were fed up with Axl and that was their way of fighting back, but if that's the case it just wasted everyone's time. That's not inherently on Axl.

Arguably one of the biggest factors in the delayed release of Chinese Democracy was that the label didn't fully buy into the idea of Axl's rebooted GN'R.

I don't think this is a fair statement.  The ONLY reason for the delay was Axl.

From 1995-1998 any rebooted-GnR really didn't do anything close to releasing an album. In 1999 with OMG the label wanted a record.  In 2002 with the MTV appearance & following tour the label wanted a record.  In 2006 the leaks happened, yet Axl seemingly never turned in the masters. Then we got it in 2007.

So let's not blame 12 years on the label.

They turned the record in at least 2 times before it was released.

Yeah, Tommy Stinson would disagree and put a great deal of blame on the label for the delay. Not to say Axl didn't play his part, I'm sure he did. But it's the whole chicken or egg argument.
