Hell...If I'd known they would be adding a Baltimore date, then I would go during the summer. I didn't know the tour would last this long. This is great. This Saturday, i'm going to rocking out to the boys with a friend of mine and his dad who is a fan in Greensboro. big_smile So excited! Been waiting for this show for a long time. Took forever to get a plan together.

So after "some" of us when we kind of get over the "I hate you Axl, you think everything is everyone's fault, you suck, I have no respect for you, you're a little bitch, a fool, a boy," and tons of  other stuff

well now what, wait for the tour or whatever, new music?  Well given that he's challenged pretty much now to release new stuff  cause he definitely has to prove a point now, at this point

For me, I like Chinese Democracy so I was excited to see them tour several times after it was finally released. I got to hear a bunch of tracks live that I didn't before hand. Plus the UCaP Tour developed and I got to see that a few times so I was happy with that.

They're popular enough around the world to do Europe again this summer so I don't have any issue with that either. As long as Guns N' Roses is doing something, I'm good. Would I like new music? OF COURSE! I'd love a new album from Guns N' Roses every week if possible. But if they're not releasing one any time soon, I'm good with that as long as they're doing something, which they are.

Same here. Anything is better than Axl going back into hiding again. I'm sure they will get around to doing new music soon. I know Axl and the rest of the boys don't want to keep this stuff buried forever. I've personally loved what they are doing with the tours. They are playing the songs I want to hear. I know Ron and DJ want to get the guys to bust out new tracks and some older stuff that hasn't been played before in a long time.

oh..Sweet! Of course Contraband is a better record; but I personally liked some of the songs on Libertad. She Builds and The Last Fight are great songs! : D Might check this out when it goes on sale.

I'd love to see a Jimi Hendrix performance with this tech. I understand that alot of people may find it disturbing; but I believe it's keeping an artist's legacy fresh and showing the music they created despite what happened to them.

Yeah I would the same thing. That's why I researched some of the deals on Amazon and Brian Wilson's website to see if I could get any better deals. Then they had the copy of it on CD which I bought at Best Buy. It was the only copy available in that section; plus my parents like The Beach Boys so they could burn it onto their computers, ipods too whenever they want to borrow it. Have the poster hooked up in my room with EVH wolfgang guitar, anime, video game posters, current GNR logo, Randy Rhoads, and Hendrix posters from Guitar World. I listened to some of the content on Spotify before I bought the album and the audio and session cuts are so crisp and clear, it doesn't sound like it was from '66 or '67. It's so fresh and inspiring.

Around the 10:30 mark is awesome. Who knew the dude from Green Day had that in him.

I thought it was great speech.

Oh..this performance made Axl the man!!! big_smile It also showed Robin in better light as a guitar player. Everyone else was on top of their game; plus the introduction to Ron fucking Bumblefoot Thal!!! yikes Another video I would recommend was the 2006 pro shot video from this tour introducing the song, Better. big_smile Even though Axl's voice wasn't the best on that video, it still kicked ass! 9

DAMN! You got quite a good stack of music my friend!  11 Keep up the good collecting. Could I make a recommendation? You should check out the Smile Sessions by The Beach Boys. I got the 2 CD set and it came with a free poster, booklet with info & pics, the music, and a Smile button! I think the big box set comes with alot more good shit. I found a copy of We Sold Our Soul by Sabbath on CD at Border's for a good price too. I was originally just going to get Paranoid and try to find a Greatest Hits lying around. I hear the Megadeth Peace Sells remastered vinyl LP kicks ass too.   I didn't know alot of this music on vinyl could be found.

Thanks man! And I definitely want that SMiLE sessions set on vinyl. It's one of the ones I want so bad but keep not pulling the trigger on it for some reason. There's a place by my house that has very reasonable vinyl prices and they throw a 20% off sale every so often. I may finally get to picking that up next time they do it.

Oh..sweet! hope you get a good deal on it! Happy hunting! cool

That's awesome dude! big_smile I know it's Paul and Robin doing the current guitar parts in this version of the song and Axl working with the overdubs. Robin does a pretty good job on the solo.  I can't really decide my favorite version of Sweet Child. I do like it when the current Guns plays it and I love some of the early live versions with Slash killing it on the solo.  I think Myles does a good job with the song too with Slash's band. I saw a pro shot vid of it on VH1 Classic and it was pretty good. At times it was a little off; but it's not an easy song to sing or play as a band. So I give my props to anyone that can pull that kind of range off especially Axl for his age. My favorite song off of Appetite has to be Nighttrain out of any of them.

I love the new section of SCOM on Big Daddy 99. Very dark, menacing sounding. Wish Sorry could have sounded more like that.

Actually the Live Era SCOM is Axl's AFD redux vocals, as is Nightrain, RQ, YCBM, Mr. Bownstone and a few others. I'm pretty sure Estranged has the 1999 vocals on it.

Yeah I listened to a few of them on Spotify. They sounded really cool! The current band should put out a live album too. That would sound amazing and very tight!
