There is a version that is found on The Big Daddy Soundtrack that is a combination of a new version performed by the lineup Axl formed from 1997-1999 towards the middle section with new vocals that are quite raspy and a live version towards the beginning with other sound effects that may be from a Live Era recording. It's on youtube under Sweet Child O' Mine 1999. I just want to know how Axl can sing well with that kind of vocal style at times. It must really affect his voice; so that's why probably he doesn't do it often. Or they may have been how he sang during those early years of reformation.

Easy with Duff on vocals would of been great! But he was singing some backup on the songs; so that's just fine with me.

DAMN! You got quite a good stack of music my friend! Keep up the good collecting. Could I make a recommendation? You should check out the Smile Sessions by The Beach Boys. I got the 2 CD set and it came with a free poster, booklet with info & pics, the music, and a Smile button! I think the big box set comes with alot more good shit. I found a copy of We Sold Our Soul by Sabbath on CD at Border's for a good price too. I was originally just going to get Paranoid and try to find a Greatest Hits lying around. I hear the Megadeth Peace Sells remastered vinyl LP kicks ass too. I didn't know alot of this music on vinyl could be found.

Yeah same here! : D They definitely made sure to not Van Halen RH this induction and performance. xD
I thought Billie's speech about the band was sincere and cool of him to do. Been looking at some of the information about GNR's induction on Ultimate Classic Rock dot com.

These are some of my favorite moments. First, I would add to congratulate members of the band for getting inducted. Axl, I hope you are enjoying yourself wherever you are. Hope to see you on tour sometime soon. Everyone else enjoy these clips:

Nah, this is GNREVO's own HOF tribute, it has nothing to do with the sham in Cleveland. This is for ALL the members here. There's no right or wrong. Post YOUR favorite clips, moments, etc...
This is not about the name. If you don't think whatever line up is or isn't GN'R post about the one you do think is the band. It's about YOUR favorite moments, past or present. And what YOU think is important.
YES!! THANK YOU!! We are not here in this thread to argue; but to celebrate one of our favorite bands no matter what era. If you want to insult someone, please find somewhere else to do your business.

Oh God, I'm scared to death of Myles singing It's So Easy. Yet another "low voice" Axl track like Brownstone that Myles simply cannot perform worth a damn because he doesn't have the lower range.
He's not good with Jungle either. He was struggling with that song.
