Song sucks and the album art is worse. Seems like another liberal villianization of God n' Guns.

What stuns me is for as anti-establishment as these grunge bands were, in their middle age they seem to be so willing to trust government and willingly champion the dismantling of individual freedom.

If anything i'd think they'd make music that is the opposite, almost to the point of being pro-terrorist at this point.

Ironically, liberals fancy thenselves the champions of civil liberties. But I guess that's only the civil liberties they like.

I can look past the in-your-face politics if I like the music though, in this case, not so much. I've been bored with Pearl Jam, and grunge in general, for a long while now.

Looking forward to it. Infestation was an awesome comeback, and one of their best records actually.

Same here. I just discovered them a few months back, and I've downloaded all their albums since. Of their more recent ones, I really dig Infestation and Detonator.  I really like DesmondCchild too, love what he's done with Bon Jovi, Areosmith, and now this.

The rumors continue to fly regarding Richie Sambora‘s absence from the latest Bon Jovi tour.

The latest reports come from a site called RumorFix, where exclusive (and anonymous, natch) sources are saying Sambora has been officially fired from the tour in a dispute over money. According to RumorFix, Sambora has been pulling in $2 million a month and 20 percent of the net from each show in spite of his absence, which is a pretty significant salary if you aren’t actually onstage. Apparently, Jon Bon Jovi agreed, officially severing ties for the duration of the tour.

In the process, he reportedly lowered the band’s overhead significantly; according to RumorFix’s report, Sambora’s replacement — onetime Triumph guitarist Phil X — is earning a comparatively low $10,000 a month while he’s on the road with Bon Jovi.

According to the source, the decision isn’t sitting well with Sambora, and not because of money either. “Richie wants to go back onstage,” says the report. “That’s his first love. He’s really upset over the news.” RumorFix claims to have reached out to Bon Jovi’s reps for comment, to no avail.

Bon Jovi’s current tour commitments run through mid-December and will see the band playing South America, North America, Japan and Australia.

I'm in the mood to listen to all of these in order. I've never done it before.

I thought I had gotten over it, but it's back. The feeling that my favorite artist of all time isn't coming back. But such is the sickness of being a die-hard that I'll go to my own grave waiting to be shown I was wrong.

I feel you bro, feel much the same way. A leak comes along and I'm feeling anxious and impatient for a new album all over again.

Perfect may be coming on a tad too strong. How about "In a world that is not a complete and utter trainwreck"? 14

In a perfect world Axl would be delivering AFD quality albums on a seasonal basis. In a perfect world the music would do the talking, not the housekeeper.

At this point I'd settle for a derail.

14 well said. I'm strongly considering renaming the thread. 14
