from that "2001 bunch", yes.
if the first leak of better was better than the over produced mess that was the album version.
TWATs best version was the later version though with the longer BH solo.
But yeah the 2001/2002 versions are the best. The 1999 versions with the exception of CITR (like IRS, TWAT) were not yet finished.

If I'm not mistaken, doesn't Chinese Democracy, Appetite for Democracy, and now AFD 26th fulfill the terms of the rumored contract?
It'd be interesting to know where they stand moving forward.
No just like GH didn't. Usually stuff like GH, Appetite for Democracy, and the reissue are to recoup money since Axl wont give them an album. The whole reason GH came out is because Axl didnt release CD at the time.
Axl owns them an album of new material.

Yeah they just need a new axl slash and duff album of new songs not CD left overs.
Make it a double album. the first disc is Axl slash and duff and the 2nd cd would be the CD left overs with the BH and Finck era of the band

Shackler full = 4:09 (or some software shows 4:08) - leaked completely.
ITW full = 4:06 (maybe also a second more or less depending on software) - only leaked as 3:58 "edited" version as of 2nd July 2018
