Didnt Richard even make a comment recently about people being upset with Slash's book?
Del James has been venting against Slash as recently as a couple of months ago and he is Axls supposed best friend.
I just cant see it happening, and to be honest I wouldnt be interested in seeing those guys going through the motions just for the money. If that does happen then Axl will prove himself to be an absolute hypocrite.
I would however pay money to see Duff walking into to the studio telling Stinson, get on board or fuck off. Then saying, "Only kidding... just fuck off!" Before tossing Stinsons guitar out into the street, while holding the door open for Stinson to meekly slope out past a chuckling Slash.

The amount of people reporting beaten up copies is unbelievable, it is so baffling.
How an earth can so many be scratched and covered in fingerprints?

I wonder who put it there, him or a disgruntled Axlite.

I think a reunion would be a disaster. No way Axl would show up every night to work with people he has such contempt for. One no show could spark a riot and then that would be it all over, promoters wont stand for that shit anymore. Plus if anyone thinks Axl can swallow his pride and resentment and work with Slash then they are delusional. Look how people like Merck and Tom Zutaut are still ostracized by Axl and his clique.
Axl doesnt even seem to like working very much either to be honest, even with people he likes, why would he want to go on a reunion tour?
This can still get turned around, its not a disaster yet. Much of the album is actually brilliant, they only need to market one song in the correct fashion and the popularity would soar in a much more positive direction.
Its quite sad to see how much this launch has been botched, from the marketing, to the booklet, to the damaged vinyl.
Overall its all been a very disapointing effort.
"Nobody owes you a goddamn thing"?
I honestly believe that the Guns N'Roses fans deserved something better than this.

A huge proportion of GNRs fanbase is there because of their love of guitar driven music, not for sampled loops and protooled orchestras. Thats not because they are stuck in 1991 and dont want the band to evolve by the way, just down to particular tastes.

Absolutely! People on GNR boards diss Marilyn Manson but that guy is winding down a succesful career that has spanned the entire length of Axls absense.

I'm not even a VR fan, but I still think its unfair to say that those guys are inferior to Axl and Axl=GNR because they made a couple of albums that are not as accomplished as Chinese Democracy. The main reason I think that is basically those albums were knocked out in next to no time at all. People can choose to dismiss the facts if they like when reviewing the album on its own merits, thats entirely fair. But when you start comparing CD to other albums I think all factors have to be considered, like time, money and contributers.
Personally I think the last Isis album, "In The Absence of Truth" is far better than CD or any of VR's albums.
They are small band who truly make music just for the pleasure.
Actually the thought just struck me that very few of the songs on Chinese Democracy sound like they were created from a labour of love.
Some songs seem like square pegs that have been beaten into a round hole. If that makes sense

I have always loved IRS, from the original crackly hissy leak to the album version.
Back Of Off Bitch has some killer guitars, vocals and melodies. Its just that lame bloody chorus that lets it down.

Axl took 14 years, millions of dollars and a huge cast of tremendously talented people to make that record.
Honestly when you look at credits on this album - with the Beltramis, Buckmasters and Bucketheads whatever - with all the help Axl had, it would be harder to make a fucking turd than to make something sounding half decent.
