Won't share the one where you can see people falling from the plane but if you go on Twitter you'll find it.
All just so sad. And unlike Saigon, more of it will be seen and it will be beamed round the world instantly.

People are grabbing on to planes as they take off and falling to their deaths.
Insanity.
The image (not shown here) of people falling from this US plane leaving Kabul represents a failure of humanity

Then we have the audacity to say we won’t take refugees
Neighbouring countries took millions over the years, because it’s the right thing to do

It's depressing. This pull out has been a shambles, the negotiated deal a shambles and the abandonment of the Aghan's who aided the US & Allies mission is appalling.

They could be the best of friends and it wouldn't matter. They're not in their 20s crashing on each other's sofas anymore.
Look at Metallica, those guys still get along to a much better extent than GN'R. They aren't hanging around with acoustic guitars and jamming, but are coming to their writing sessions with ideas they each worked up. Some shit may get done together whilst in the studio but they're not doing shit the way they used to.
They have families and separate lives now. And rightly so they're all 50+.

Also Mitch, why are you trying to pop off at other posters in this thread. I may lean more your way politically but talking to other folk here is more pleasant.
You are such a shit stirrer.

A reasonable question is how much is Russia behind the Taliban’s troop movements.
Based on that bounty program where the paid militants linked to the Taliban to kill American soldiers I would be surrpised if there wasn't involvement on some level. Would also not be surprised if there was some help from China.

But they have to walk a line and not stage mass executions. People are going to be slaughtered, but if it’s off camera the west will do nothing.
They already began

Fuck up starts with how Trump sets this in motion, giving up so much for the optics of being seen to do something and getting so little in return.
Having Baradar released in 2018 without some guarantees. Stupid.
Signing that agreement in 2020, without also having some sort of power-sharing agreement negotiated and signed at the same time. Also, stupid.
Biden inheriting this hand and then handling the exit in such a rushed, disorganised manner. Extra stupidBiden agreed with Trump with wanting to get out, but he did not do what Trump was going to do. He does opposite of trump on everything else, so don’t think he is following Trump’s plan when he never does on anything else.
Biden has screwed up the exit, I said this. The seeds for this begin with the deal that your guy negotiated and signed off on. One that he no doubt described as "marvelous deal, beautiful deal, some people are saying the greatest deal in the middle east that anyone ever did".
https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-asia-51689443
"Within the first 135 days of the deal the US will reduce its forces in Afghanistan to 8,600, with allies also drawing down their forces proportionately.
The move would allow US President Donald Trump to show that he has brought troops home ahead of the US presidential election in November."
Doing things by arbitrary dates just for electoral gain is definitely a solid base for a great plan. /s
Also this:
"The deal also provides for a prisoner swap. Some 5,000 Taliban prisoners and 1,000 Afghan security force prisoners would be exchanged by 10 March, when talks between the Taliban and the Afghan government are due to start."
A shitty lopsided prisoner exchange with no guarantee or caveat about the outcome of power-sharing negotiations.
This deal sold the Afghan government down the river. Once the Taliban's got this deal there was no impetus for them to negotiate anything in good faith. That deal gives up all leverage.
Biden then compounds the mess with his exit plan. Clusterfuck, from top to bottom and from one admin to the next.

My God....his statements.
That will play on a loop in ads during his reelection campaign.
They're getting looped already. They're a death sentence for him politically. Or at least they should be.

how on earth does quick song sound like smells like teen spirit?
It's the riff. It is very similar.

I'm not sure why people keep citing how they wrote songs in the 80s as how they should do things now. In the 80s they were all in their 20s. They are near 60 now, they aren't going to act and behave like they did in their 60s. It's unrealistic to expect them to.
Even in terms of travel - there is no need for them to travel together, they want their own privacy. It's not even really a "they're rich and detached" thing either. Just like people outgrow having roommates and start to want their own place later into their 20s and 30s same with these guys. Duff and Slash aren't chasing a fix of something together all the time anymore, they don't need to be palling around the whole time. It's not 92.
They wrote a bunch of instrumental shit in 94-96. Axl has whatever his shadow lineup produced in 95 plus his vault from the CD sessions where by all accounts he has 1-2 albums of vocals if not more. Duff and Slash have stuff they did with Izzy pre VR. If Axl has been willing to record again (and according to Fortus he was recording vocals in 2014 and we know he did that cartoon song post reunion so it's all possible) then there is a wealth of stuff to work with. I'd also rather hear what was worked on when they were 15-25 years younger, were pissed off at each other and had something to say.
They don't need to get in a room and spend hours together writing music. They're not 25 anymore.
And hell who knows, they still go to rehearsals and soundchecks together and may jam about a bit during that. Some ideas can come from that too.

Absurd isn’t on Apples latest releases rotunda thing anymore in the Music Store.
I’m guessing it’s a pay X for Y time thing.
Aye the marketted latest releases definitely are. No idea about how featuring in the custom generated playlists that people get each week works. I get a lot of niche stuff in mine, so it's not all marketing spend to get featured.
