I wouldnt be suprised if he feels he has expressed his sentiments explicitly on the record, and therefore has no need to say anymore at this time.
He could just be playing up the role as the "mythical" Axl Rose as well.
Mabye things will pick up in December when they release Better, surely there will at least be a video for that.

I dont think I have ever heard an album thats been made to sound louder, any examples?
I have seen a lot of comments about Death Magnet, but I have never heard that album yet.

No but I just think it could have been handled differently, especially at such an early stage. The chances of this ending amicably now, look like wishful thinking on my part.
I'm just completely sick of the BS surrounding this band, and this looks another chapter.

No no, ruffle a few feathers over at Dr Pepper.
Accusing them of "reckless indifference or complete stupidity", there will be people over there who will take umbridge at such remarks.

I suppose its fair that, if Dr Pepper did exploit GN'R then GN'R are entitled to exploit them back. But it just feels ugly, its an unpleasant turn of events. Some of the things GNR accuse Dr Pepper of, cynics might call hypocritical.
Dr Pepper were always likely to make it difficult for people, huge money making corporations never like to give the little folk anything for free.
I hope this is sorted out amicably, but the wording of that lawyers letter will definently ruffle a few feathers.

They say they will hand out a free soft drink to everyone in America, with the exception of 2, and dont expect high numbers of traffic at the site?
It could just be staged for more publicity, but Dr Pepper dont look very good here, so they may not be in on it. I wonder how they will respond.

It would have been nice to see him getting a shot at playing lead on the album, he is equal to what ended up on Catcher.
I wonder where they will tour first?

London, England (CNS) - Guns N' Roses' much awaited album Chinese Democracy has already been certified platinum in Finland after it sold 50,791 copies in the U.K. on its first day of release, according to midweek sales figures.
Chinese Democracy has topped the general iTunes Music Store chart in Greece, Norway, Portugal, Spain, Sweden and Finland, Music Week reports. In Finland, a domestic album is given platinum award if it recognizes sales in excess of 30,000 copies, while the same award is given out to foreign artists for shifting 20,000 units of a single album.
In addition to being the numero uno song and number one rock track in most European countries, it's the number 1 rock song in the iTunes Music Stores in the U.S., Canada, France and the U.K.
In the first-week sales estimation in the U.S., the album sold anywhere from 300,000 to 500,000 (including a reported 25,000 downloads at iTunes), according to Hits Daily Double, the companion web site of music industry tip sheet HITS.
However, the album will not debut on this week's The Billboard 200 chart, but the following week, December 3.
