The difference is, WE are GNR die hards. So we are going in with the mindset of being excited and wanting to love it. I love Silk Worms! See what I mean? I think that song is awesome.
I also think Oh My God is one of the most amazing songs I've ever heard. A little better guitar and better produced and that song to me is just as good as Shacklers and we see how bad Oh My God did.

See, I don't think u can bash a DJ for saying it sucks. What if a DJ says its fucking awesome? Does that guy's opinion not matter either?
Not everyone is gonna like this song. People who are use to GNR are not gonna like this song at first. Question is, how many people out there, give songs 3 or 4 listens?Its in my experience, for most, if a song doesn't grab u right off the bat, they don't listen.

Included the re-recorded Appetite For Destruction as a bonus disc inside Chinese Democracy? I know we'd all love to hear it, but would u consider that living off the old to promote the new?

U figure Wal Mart is gonna do their all to make this a success, cause the more successful the more they make as well. So each store will have like a special section for the exclusive. someone said the Eagles album sold 7 million. I guarantee without the walmart exclusive it wouldnt sell that. A lot of people that shop at Walmart, don't illegally steal, so they buy something especially at a great price. Also its kind of a psychology trick. People see something that appears to be a "BIG DEAL" they are more interested in buying it. So when they see this huge GNR stand etc, it makes u curious, and it makes your impulse buying mechanism flare up and people who otherwise wouldnt buy it, find it in their cart.

GNR have to tour with this album release. all the cash grab shit they did living off the old band's catalog. yeah when CD comes out they have to tour. I hope Robin is gone. He belongs in NIN.

Also, I think a lot of people get lost in Axl's amazing vocals and lyrics. The vocals,lyrics and melodies are some of the greatest in GNR song history.
However, If u can ignore Axl and just listen to the music, outside of the piano its very very mediocre. The solo at the end for me, doesnt match the song, that song is so heartfelt and beautiful and the guitar at the end is just a bunch of flashy jibberish.

Sorry to continue the off topic theme, but I think the guitar solos in TWAT stand up to ANYTHING Slash has ever pulled off. And I still am not convinced song 2 is "Prostitute".
To have one last say on TWAT.
The solo is good, almost great but it just doesnt quite take me there.
Prince use to say that a guitar solo was like giving a woman an Orgasm. u build and build and build until the climax. TWAT gets like right there but it doesnt take u all the way. Its like a chick stopping abruptly just as and :bj: never happens.
For me, the difference is, Slash doesn't have a singer to inspire him to the heights he had in GNR but on the same token, I don't feel any of the GNR guitarist can match Axl's vocals emotionally enough and Slash's guitar was the equal emotional wise to Axl's voice which is what made it so magical.
