One thing that will be interesting...those that like to make everything into Axl vs Slash at other forums used to love to bash slash for selling out for being in GH3...now that GNR is in Rockband 2 I wonder if they'll consider that a sell out too...
Fucking rights. It's about time the $la$h sellout talk stops I'd say. I mean maybe Slash never was a sellout. maybe it's just companies wanted him rather than Axl. Axl laid dormant for years. nobody wants to attatch their products to a hermit. His new name can now be Axl Ro$e and everyone ragging on Slash for years can shut it.

U2 maybe. Album is supposedly set to come out in October some time. Guns N' Roses? Not a chance. been there done that. I highly doubt they'll do that shit ever again untill something concrete is gonna be relased. Now if it's a reunion hell yeah I could see that. But in my opinion MTV probably feels new Gn'R can fuck off. Nobody wants it and they already had it. They wont' do it twice without an album release date.

Karma for compiling all those reviews.Not gonna read them though because this is one of those films I want to walk into with a clear head and not have any preconceptions regarding it.
I haven't commented much in this thread yet, but thats pretty much because of the reason I just mentioned. Cant comment on the various reviews/spoilers because I'm not reading them.
Sane here. I want to know as little as possible about this movie. I don't need positive reviews or any reviews to up my interest in this movie. I havent' anticipated a movie this much since LOTR's Return of the King.
James can I assume you finally got around to seeing Batman Begins? And if so what did you think?
My only complaint so far is that Maggie Gyllenhall(sp?) has taken over Katie Holmes' character. She may be a better actress but the roll can't be big enough to make a difference. It's basically a bit part roll no? I know alot of peole complained about Katie's acting in BB but really it didn't hurt the film one way or another in my opinion. I thought she was fine. PLus she's a lot nicer to look at in my opinion. I just don't like when characters switch actors in a series. As a protest I might just wait untill the late show on opning night rather than catch the early show. That'll show'em

I had to go with TWAT. It's always seemed a mess to me. There was a fleeting moment when I thought it kicked ass, the solo at the end is cool but over time it's really lost it's appeal. It's just one of those songs that doesnt' really go anywhere or do anything for me.

It's an absolute pipe dream to think any CD era material would make an apperance on a Gn'R related guitar hero or rock band game. People honestly dont' want that shit. they want paradise City, KOHD, Jungle, SCOM, YCBM etc etc. The want SLASH. the want Classic stuff. Nobody except a few forum members want a Guitar Hero with Chinese Democracy material on it.

Here's a little trailer set to Kill the Lights by David Usher from his upcoming album Wake Up and Say Goodbye due out in September. It's not the full song but that's o.k. Not so sure the music fits the feeling of the movie(not dark enough) but hey, any excuse to promote David Usher and plus you get to watch TDK trailer while listening.

Yeah tejastech08 I guess the PG-13 rating makes huge sense forma marketing perspective. I was just under the impression they wanted ot do an R rated film.
I was pissed off yesterday listening to Maxim Radio. They were calling all the hype and prasie for Leger fake. Just hypeing up a dead guys last performance to sell the movie. Calling the idea of Oscar talk a pitty vote. Stretch is a fucking idiot. Obviously they have no clue that there was hype about his performance well before he died. Obviously they haven't seen any of the spots. Just a stupid conversation. Typical Maxim Radio though.

You think your opinion is the only one that is valid, and everyone else just doesn't know what they're talking about. You talk down to everyone and condescend to everyone. Yes, I know what you're saying about the leaks. Not mixed, mastered, produced, put together as well as a finished product. Crystal clear.
But, yeah, Zeitgest sucked ass. Starz sucks? Yeah, it sucks. How can you honestly say it doesn't?

Then suddenly when I use it in comparison to CD the haters of that album come out of the woodwork. how hard is that to comprehend. Figure it out.
And after this little rant of yours on how the new Pumpkins album sucks I listend to it again and man if Axl's vocals were on that stuff 90% of the people here or on any Gn'R site would be diggin' the shit outta that album. Call that talking down, call that condescending but for rock fans to flat out say the new Pumpkins album "sucks" is a bit funny in my opinion.
But anyways this isn't a thread about the Pumpkins so I'm done with this little side conversation. You've been too damn sensitive this week anyways.

I gotta vote off Riyadh. The begining of the song is tolerable but the second half I find myself always thinking "what the fuck is this shit". Even when I have it on in the background my mind always wanders back to it durring the secodn half and me thinking "My god this is shit."
