anyway someone over @ mygnr says that Kaneda is involved in this...dont know much about him other than his reputation but maybe some of our mygnr people can shed some light on his motives

he works for the PR company which is apparently putting this together, that's why a lot of people think its BS...wait for it, BumbleFortus will be on this like no one else....he loves Kaneda...bigtime...those two go back a long way....

Matt is a cock, but Scott is an even bigger cock. He's as uncool as a frontman can be. The guy is just annoying. I never liked him in VR, but I supported Slash & Co's decision. His betrayal is one of the worsts in the history of rock. The other guys did everything to save him and what he's got in return? I have no problems with him rejoining STP, but his disrespect towards Slash & Co is unbelievable. Rid of this junkie and let him die alone.
true, he's not the best he could be, but i do sympathize with him a little....since VR started he's faced nothing but GNR related inquiries, comparisons and questions....
he was the frontman, and had no choice or say of who to even hire to be in his band....he was a hired gun in a way, and was treated like one...
and Matt is just a drummer for fuck sake....those STP reunion comments were nothing but disrespectful towards his lead singer...least he could do is stick up for him and pretend like VR was not a manufactured band....instead he made it blatantly obvious that they don't have any rock n roll chemistry...
Cock or not, Scott did not deserve that treatment....anyone else would have buckled under the media pressure and spotlight...
He did the right thing by doing this and pulling out of VR...for his sake, and the band's sake...
Now lets hope that he has no rights to the VR brand name and that Slash and Duff can regroup and work out a positive new direction for the band....hopefully with someone of equal stature to lead the band...
and that they fire Sorum....
what a mess....I would love to know what Axl Rose thinks of this whole thing....

I can't believe Weiland got so bent out of shape and posted such a rant over what Matt posted.
i think its a general response to the situation, only triggered by matt's comments, not a direct reply to those comments only, but rather a response which has been boiling under the skin for some time now...
Matt is a cock...i used to think he was cool when he joined gnr, but he's been anything but respectful towards Scott, and after reading about his attitude towards Axl during his stint in GNR, I have nothing but remorse towards him...
I said it before, I feel for Scott....never really enjoyed his singing, or him as a singer in VR, but in this post gnr era, he has faced an uphill battle with his bandmates (Dave excluded)....
The biggest losers in this fiasco are Duff and Dave....I feel really bad for them, Duff relocating his family to LA to try and have another go at rock stardom, this must be really demotivating for him and them...
I wonder who Slash is going to blame this time round for the breakup....

Mysterion just confirmed its in record COMPANY hands now......
its always been in the record company's hands...even during the time when they felt powerless against him...they still had the final say as to if it gets released...
we're just being sold that right now as the latest excuse...to take the heat off Axl for a little bit...but the truth is...Axl Rose could never bypass them anyway...
perhaps on the creative level, he wouldn't let them contribute with regards to ideas and people and deadlines...but when it comes to the logistics of having that album out and on the shelves, he has no say or power in that department...
that's where the hold up may be....(for those who believe that the album is indeed done and delivered)...
there's a power struggle in those boardrooms as to who has a bigger dick with regards to this album...and the fact that we don't have any concrete info on it yet tells me that Axl is perhaps losing in the size battle...
i just hope that the arguments/disagreements are civil and human...and not based on ego's and personality clashes...because if that's the case...
we'll never see this thing...
