The only time I want to see GNR is when the Axl, Slash, Izzy, Duff & Steven get inducted to the HOF. Maybe they could pull off a tasteful set of something like SCOM, KOHD & PC. But, sadly, I don't think Axl & Steven are capable of rocking arenas anymore & would drag the Slash, Duff & Izzy show down.

I agree to a point. If Axl had the vocals to do it fine but he doesn't . I dont' know what it is but his mic levels are so embarasisngly low compared to all other artitsts I've seen live. Is it to hide something?  That in itself allows other artits to blow him off stage. It's ridiculous.  I know more than few people who will never pay to see Axl dance ever again after the 06 tour. You can't hear his voice consistently throughout the show and that's unprofessional.

How many people are pissed at Axl for his money grab in '06?  Yet the same people who bitched about the tour in '06 are willing to pissaway more money at what would be an obvious money grab.

Honestly? You can't recognize the difference?

O.k. "pull your head out"  was a bit uncalled for. I admit it. I'm sorry.  Go Cowboys!

Exactly. Smells like a 11-5, division winning, loss in their first playoff game, kind of year.

Haha! What a brutal arguement. Pull your head out CC.  Who's there QB? Please. Umm... how about the guy that set numerous Cowboys passing recrods last year, a two time pro bowler.  A guy who put in a  better performance against the Giants in the playoffs than Garcia, Favre and Brady.

I agree with you NY Giants that the coaching situation is odd in Dallas. I'll disagree with you though about the Giants being better. The Cowboys are the better team the Giants simply peaked and played amazing football at the right time of year. Kudos to them. The Boys are just gonna be too good for the rest of the NFC this year. They are in a  win now mode though which is exciting and scary at the same time as a Cowboys fan. There's something really nerve racking about knowing the window will slam shut sooner than later even if it hasnt started just yet.

Oh my God what a joke! Who hasn't worked with JT or Timbaland. These guys are fools if they think they invented the idea of collaborating with Justin and Timbaland. It makes them look pathetic.

i would have to say that it would be the UYI tour version of the band with appearances here and there of izzy

Here's what my guess is for either "reunion" lineup:

Axl
Slash
Duff
Dizzy
Gilby (w Izzy here and there)
Matt

or

Axl
Slash
Duff
Dizzy
Richard (w Izzy here and there)
Matt

This is exactly how I've always pictured it. I'd prefer the lineup with Gilby just based on nostalgia. But Richard would be fine too. Izzy will no doubt make special guest apperances. I don't see Steven being involved. But either way  a reunion is coming long before CD ever sees the light of day.  The question is weather or not they tour before of after "CD's" release.  Depends on when Slash and Co(Including Izzy). wanna record their parts for the album I guess tongue

Runaway Train - Soul Asylum: http://youtube.com/watch?v=psP1bKKEtHg
This in my opinion is the greatest video of all time in terms of the impact it had on society. Yeah sure there may have been more popular muisc videos but the simply fact that two of the kids featured in the video were reunited with their families because of this video makes Runaway Train the greatest impact video of all-time and possibly the most important video period of all-time. There's no legit arguement against it in my opinion.

Alive - Edwin: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jqxaAfaCln8
Quite simply the greatest video in the history of music videos in terms of complementing the song. This is of ocurse MY OPINION but I've never seen a  video that has enhanced such a great song the way this one does. It's breathtaking in my opinion but oddly there's nthing really spectacular about it. The two just go hand in hand perfectly more so than any video/song before or since.

The Fly - U2: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Nc2nMTnQFvo
No video ever has announced a band's change in everything the way the Fly did for U2.  In my opinion( and this coming from a  learned U2 fan, not someone who was a fan at the time) the tranformation from Joshua Tree/Rattle and Hum to Achtung Baby is extraordinary. It's unbelievable really. To think a band could change their image, sound and attitude so extreme the way U2 did and have it come off as legit and not as a sell out and at the same time increase their fanbase is unbeliveable. The Video was the first glimpse of the "new" U2. It's insane to watch the video for Where the Streets Have No Name and then this video back to back and think it's the same band.

Once again here's a post from me regarding my Gn'R experience in the club.  So tonight was busy right from the get go(10 pm). I usually do a  mini walk through before I start djing to get a  vibe from the crowd so I know what to start with. It's  a "hard" dj gig since it's a resort town and the crowd is completely different on any given night.  Honestly that's where I think I'm better than most typical club dj's(toot toot!). I've learned from extreme circumstances how to read crowds.  Anyways tonight seemed rockish so I started with some Airborne, White Stripes, Motley Crue, Kiss(Heaven's on Fire - I love it) and Seether. Half way through Remedy(Seether) the most gorgeous/cutest/sexiest girl(Britney) in ages comes up and requests Gn'R. I said sure but wanted to know what she wanted to hear. To my shock she asked for Nightrain.  16 I was blown away but given the timing I had to say no. The dance floor was packed for Seether and honestly my job is ot keep it that way so I had to follow it up properly. I needed to play a more mainstreme song(I was hoping Jungle) so I told her to pick a more popular one. She picked Jungle.  I fell in love with her 16 Anyways I've been playing a killer techno remix of Jungle nearly every night(Sat & Fri) for the last 4 months and it's gone over wickedly well. To be honest the peak reaction is when the actual intro to Jungle kicks in. Tonight for Britney I decided to pay the actuall song. The place went nuts. FUCKING NUTS! So much son that I was stressed about what to play next.:haha: I followed it up with Crazy Bitch by Buck Cherry. It was a good choice.

Fast forward to the end of the night. Everyone has left and the staff is sitting around drinking and shooting the shit. I had a mixed disc playing. Better comes on and the bartender(sexy as fuck) says: "Who is this?" I said it's a "new" Guns N' Roses song but it's only a demo and has never been released.  She tells me that it's "fucking awesome".   End of story.

There ya go. Young women in 2008 dieing to hear Gn'R and loving the new shit they're hearing.  A wicked night for rock in the club, Gn'R going over well and personally I think I played  a wicked set(lots of techno,  and rock (a minimum amount of pop/hop hop - I love it when it's like this). Now I just gotta figure out who this Britney girl is 16) Hopefully she's local.
