Incredible. Let’s hope for a tour and that Axl is spurred to reconsider releasing some of the original ChiDem sessions. Make it a limited edition, something ridiculously and wonderfully expansive and over the top. Like, 20 CDs each maxed out to capacity.
Crazy, I know. But crazy is what we are dealing with.

They should re-release the cd as well!

The title track for the dynamics. Whereas many other tracks became overstuffed by the production, “Chinese Democracy” itself grew to monstrous intensity.
When the drums kick in, wow.

Speaking of Queen, Brian May still seems pissed Axl cut him out of Catcher.
He has every right to be. His version sounded best. Plus, the album version sounds like it is louder than the rest of the cuts and mastered differently.

If you don’t receive their emails, the official GNR mailing list just announced …
Socks.

Soundtracks did so much for them. Hell, even Clint Eastwood using “Jungle” in a film got them early legitimacy despite the movie itself not doing well.
“Days of Thunder” and “T2” were pre-UYI events that bought the band time between albums and made GNR a household name with people not already inclined to seek out their work because of the songs featured.
I can’t understand how they are not seeding ChiDem leftovers in soundtracks.

Any reports of ticket prices generally going up due to fuel costs doubling in the past year? At some point that is bound to be a factor.
Couple higher touring costs with fans hesitant to travel to gigs due to their own cost of living challenges and it is a perfect storm.
