I think outside of Shackler's, the rock songs are kinda mediocre but the epic ballads are some of the greatest ever.
It's kinda like... back in 2003, I would have sent a copy of Chinese Democracy to my ex-girlfriends. Like a professionaly done mix-CD. But now I don't want to risk a restraining order. Plus Facebook has now been invented, so everyone else would find out about it. Quickly. So that would be counter productive.
But for a 100 dollars, I'd consider doing this ^.
Haha.

As I said: We are scraping the bottom of the barrel.
It's clear these files have some value to Russ and a few others, but obviously no one has been able to trade them for an unheard track - did any one ever think that would be a fair 1:1 trade?
Maybe not a 1:1 trade, but a 14:2 trade would work. Or 14:1.
Or whatever. A little imagination goes a long way.
I've been watching too many Garak episodes of DS9...

i think what hes trying to get at is that a lot of people want these, and might be willing to trade a lot for them. think of all the stuff that happened last time, when MSL got the prostitute files. these tracks are definately in demand. maybe it would benefit everyone in the long run to sit on them for a while
^.
And I bet the people who actually ripped/copied/magic-ed these files would be upset by them appearing in public forum like this. I doubt the story about his friend doing it.

Indeed. I have a feeling this Ackcelll person is really shooting some people in the foot doing this. He didn't even try and trade these for unreleased new tracks! Sheesh...
sarcasm?
Half sarcasm.

TheMole wrote:These aren't multitracks, they're rockband files. A shame really, sorta cut n' paste this way. Still cool to hear though, damn Axl's vocal lines are processed.
They are not cut and paste jobs, my friend just said to me he used a jtagged xbox 360 to get them from the DLC, they are how it is stored on the hard drive, definitely no cut and paste. You will notice they are perfect.
Anyway, here's the Bass track for Chi Dem!

More to come.
Did your friend really do that? Or did someone else?
Anyway, Atari Legend, no, this is not "legal".

Hey, may I suggest we debate whether or not JJ Abrams new Star Trek movie is canon Star Trek? I mean, this thread needs more internet controversey.
