And as a practical matter, if you spotted a group of celebs, and you got your camera with you, and someone's taking your picture... wouldn't you feel awkward saying "oh, uhm, not you..." to one in the party?

I love OMG. Really, really, do. The only frustration is the end result of the mix. I don't know what to adjust, but it seems so squished and mashed down. One of the reasons I wished he continued to perform it live.
OMG was what I kept on repeat in 2003 after missing the 2002 Chicago show! It was a light of hope for me before we had that crappy recording of IRS.

Well, I can play most of the original band's songs on guitar, so I guess I can hang with them too!

I think it's supposed to be an alternate on this tour. I think they either play it, or My Michelle, according to that leaked set.
Well that's cool. My Michelle is also arguably the best song on AFD as well.
If nothing else, those two songs are Axl Rose at his most brutally honest. One of them involves him screwing a chick in the studio on tape while the other has him spilling a very personal story about one of his friends.
And...
one involves a chick who screws people for coke,
and the other involves someone whom he hates to see walking out there, out in the rain...

The demo version of The Blues and the one that ended up on the album.
I think there's another version besides the demos we got (MSL/Skwerl, etc) and the album.
The Boston promo clip sounds... just higher. Maybe the pitch was changed or distorted when they put it in the package, but it sounds different to me. Worth another hear by some other sets of ears.
