Another good money maker is to officially release live shows. The cheapest way would be as a download on a web site. If every show has been recorded, then make MP3's available for all old shows and future shows.
It's not going to generate 13 million, but will add to the cost owed from recording CD.
I for one, would buy all six shows I've been too and probably more. At ten bucks a pop, they will sell.

I'm on the Silkworms bandwagon too. I've never been a big fan of it on the boots, but everyone that was there in person when it was played loved it. I think the studio could bring new life to the song to the fan base just like when the CD haters loved the CD leak.

Axl was a big Cornell fan. That's why bands like NIN and Soundgarden were openers, because Axl was a true fan of the bands.
I'm still bummed about the Detroit show that got cancelled that had Soundgarden as an opener. Never did get to see Cornell live.

Hey Incognito, want to come over to my place and play Uno while we are listening to your new leak?

I bet Ron Jeremy was heart broke about the dressing room incident. Ron has been a big fan and has been to a ton of GN'R shows. It's not like he was a casual fan. I can understand why Axl would be mad about it though too. The dressing room is a private place and you don't just want people dropping in uninvited.

Unless something horrible were to happen, Axl is likely to outlive Beta. I do see her children as an option. I would think Amy and Stuart are a possibility, but I'm not sure how close they are with him these days.

With George Carlin passing away, it got me thinking about Axl's heir. I know over the years speculation has been generated that nothing will get released until Axl's passing. This made me wonder who would Axl make his heir over his possession and estate? Would it be his brother and sister, Beta, or someone that no one would guess? As far as we know, he does not have any children to pass on his possessions.
With that said, could he put in his will to not release anything or would the heir be someone who would not release anything under any circumstance. The exact opposite could also happen where a person would be consumed by greed and release any and all recordings for personal financial gain. Then there is the whole issue of the record company and what amount of say or stake they have in any unreleased material.
I hope this isn't to morbid for everyone, it was just any interesting thought I had...
...and ofcourse, if anything would be released in the near future, this whole issue could become moot.
