Remember when people were like what the hell is "The Plague" on the AFD box set?
That's the low bar.

Claude, great idea.
It’s a great idea like all the other great ideas generated by fans the last 20 years that are routinely stomped on and dismissed by Gn’R “management”.

Nirvana was my favorite band before Guns. My view on classic GNR isn’t Cobain level but it’s in the ballpark which explains why I’m more of a New GNR guy.
I haven’t listened to them in years. I did sort through the In Utero box set and think I have the Nevermind remaster from a year or so back but I just can’t dive into that energy at this stage of my life, it’s soaked in death and negativity.
Nevermind is a masterpiece but In Utero is just as good. Live and Loud is phenomenal.

If they're burying New GNR as B-Sides, fair enough, but releasing physically only is backwards. It will be on the internet eventually. Making it difficult for your fans only agitates them. Keep them involved. You treat loyal customers like the asset they are. It's business 101 stuff.
Any way, we'll see what happens. I'm gonna just take a step back and let things unfold and not react to every direction the wind blows.

This doesn’t bode well.
If true, you’re alienating your own fan base from giving you money. Not everyone is into vinyl or even physical media anymore. And then there’s the question of the quality of the song.
If false, they’re sneaking around when things should be clear as day. Here’s the plan, preorder now. And so on.
Might go back to hibernation mode. I tire of the Mickey Mouse stuff.

I never put much weight into the rumors but Pink showing up and playing with them a couple years ago certainly made it plausible.
It's a fairly natural friendship. Non-conformist genderless rocker who did things their way.

We'll see.
And while "Prostitute" was a little less fire than I would've wanted, I love that track. It's 100% the direction they should've ran with, unfortunately we only got scraps of what could've been.

I always wanted to know where the hell that rumor came from. I should dig through CD Whispers although I don't know if he included that type of stuff in it.
All I remember is it was during the quiet years I wanna say 2004-2005, could be way off

I’d also like to hear Axl’s solo stuff whatever that means. That Pink song that never materialized etc.
The Gnr fan base is getting a little delusional again.
This is all fan bases though. The smart people take advantage of this in a mutually beneficial way.

I love "Oh My God".
It has a great flow to it. This swanky sort of intro and then Axl raging UYI style. It's like the New GNR version "Breakdown". The mix had it's issues but I'm not sure how you can improve it beyond that. That 2011 version with Bumblefoot where they make the riff obvious and added a disco bridge was horrible. It's the complete opposite to "Silkworms" to "Absurd", which they played the hell out of in 2001 but was messy and clearly needed refinement.
But we're gonna get that at some point. It's 100% an Axl move.
