#31 Re: Guns N' Roses » What song do you want to hear most? » 96 weeks ago

Oklahoma, Soul Monster, State Of Grace & As It Began

#32 Re: Guns N' Roses » Atlas Shrugged (2023 ) - Rumour » 96 weeks ago

I think this is the typical troll and there is no much to say, they want our attention but there is no album coming.
OMG has had an official release and Thyme as Sp1at said before is a piece connected to another track there is no evidence of any recording about It.
Berlin 51 seems to me the same as if I say Oklahoma 84 they only invent a number and that's all.
Atlas Shrugged as an album title It is not logical at all,  has never been mentioned by someone before and at this point if there was really an album, It would be self-titled or called NITL or Fn Back something like this I think, but yeah we can dream

I asked Rick about that Exhibit B list thing

He seems to omit if he has Exhibit A so probably he does not have It.
Do we know when this list date from?
It's interesting to know how they consider Twat or Street Of Dreams as not their Plan A on songs for the album

I think it's totally fake but hopefully in an ideal world this would be a possible album

Seems to be from 4chan i'm assuming this is BS but thought i'd post it coz ... you never know.

I think is bullshit for the simple reason It puts Atlas Shrugged as the album name, for the other things could be true but I think an album is unlikely nowadays

#36 Re: Guns N' Roses » Atlas Shrugged (2023 ) - Rumour » 96 weeks ago

If this is true and Atlas is released in November I think they clearly released everything from the lockdown sessions and they are moving into new material as Slash claimed and the tour manager said, which will lead to no Oklahoma, Soul Monster or State of Grace which I have loved

For the 20 songs, I had three or four songs, or for the 16, I had three or four songs that were in the running. And so, like, that's pretty cool (Freese I'd Hit That podcast, April 2013)

Exhibit B list could be the list they are both talking about.

Well this seems interesting, I don't know to much about this do we have Exhibit A?
When was supoosed Freese to left the band? I don't remember exactly right now the timeline and that would be interesting just because we can know which songs were working on List A which at that moment seem the focus for the album

Freese left in March 2000. No we don't have Exhibit A, this list appeared i believe around the same time as the locker leaks and may have come out of the same locker. The person to ask would really be Rick I guess. Though as I said the other day i'm inclined to believe it's legit as details like the Engel & Engel part seem way to specific for someone to fake

Wow thanks, interesting that he talks about 20 songs on each List, It would be cool if we can do List A with the song names that we know about around this dates to see if there are names that we don't know about.
For example, Oklahoma, Ides of March...

It's just crazy to pump that much money into promoting one song. That would be unprecedented but if any band has that going for it...it's GNR.

That Times Square promo is an eye opener. That's like Taylor Swift-Beyonce shit.

Maybe the last two releases flopping hurt some egos? Maybe they finally decided to do a thing right? Ticket sales aren't what they once were.

Could be that they learned from past mistakes I guess. Been trying to figure out what makes this release different than the other 2. Absurd was unexpected & an odd choice for a 1st single. Maybe it was just to test the waters? I get why there wasn’t much promo behind that. But Hard School deserved more. Maybe they thought they didn’t need to put in the work? Found out it wasn’t that easy, so here we are. I guess that makes sense.

As for an album, I’d love one but I’m still not convinced. Once they release The General, we’ll have 1/3 of an album already. Even more if you include Eye on You, State of Grace, Atlas Shrugged, Oh My God? It’d be an odd approach at releasing an album a little at a time but maybe they feel this way they make money off the digital releases first & then a physical release at the end. Kind of like they did with the 1st two singles & these next two. I didn’t buy the last EP & don’t have a need for the upcoming LP, but I’ve bought each single individually & would certainly fork over the $15 for a new album if that time comes. As long as it comes in CD form. If it’s digital only, I’d just buy the songs I don’t already have. Still trying to figure out the new age of buying music and I’m sure they’re still learning how to release it.

Just imagine an LP like Lies:
Absurd
Hardskool
Perhaps
The General
Oklahoma
Soul Monster
Atlas
State of Grace

With some promotion they can gain again the public, just see how is It going with Perhaps which is not the best song they have in the vault

Thanks, I throw to Fernando if there is any posibility to hear it before October, hope that he can answer?

I saw you ask. I doubt he will say anymore tbh. My guess would be September but this is GN'R there will probably be fuck ups and set backs along the way. Wonder if that will have a video too

Well I think everything depends on how Perhaps goes but Axl is not silly and knows that probably The General is one of the best songs he has so he Will probably promote It well
