Another good point!

It’s literally insane….on one hand they won’t acknowledge Chinese, yet the only thing they release are Chinese songs and every rock critic and fan of rock and roll knows it!
I’m with Age, it’s way more embarrassing not to create something new. However Ice, they have no shame. The first single from the reunion was a Hollywood Rose song!!!!!
Last I checked Duff and Slash weren’t in Hollywood Rose either!

AC/DC is going on tour. Chances are Brian won’t make the whole thing so Axl is 2nd string backup if needed…..kidding obviously
These old dudes need to let it go….the live shows are nothing more than cash grabs for all these fuckers….let it go

According to Duff….a little disappointed we couldn’t squeeze out a few more singles…Monsters and Atlas Shrugged? Those are the last 2 which sound completed from the CD sessions. I am sure there are more but those 2 are firmly documented.
Has anyone noticed they don’t sell Chinese on their official site but they sell that half assed Appetite for Democracy video?

On a side note, just rewatched SCOM from Rio 2001……easily the best live version since the Illusions. It is far superior to the reunion years.

misterID wrote:He’s really only talked about Sorry from CD and that it’s not about (at the time) any old band mates, which is crazy
He has also talked about Catcher In The Rye and the title track (and ofc Rhiad).
misterID wrote:Did he ever specifically mention This I Love being about Stephanie?
Not specifically, but the way he talked about it during a show points at her:
Axl: The person I wrote that song [=This I Love] for said, "Thank you for the gift of your soul." Well, it took a while, but I got that fucker back. [Telia Parken, Copenhagen, Denmark, June 27, 2017]
We also have what Dave Dominguez said about it being a "Stephanie" song.
All of which ties in to Soul Monster/Monsters….TWAT, The Blues….that chick banged him up worse than Erin.
Erin still wins though….SCOM and Estranged are arguably 2 of the greatest hard rock ballads ever written. SCOM maybe #1!
#39 Re: Guns N' Roses » Duff writes new Civil War for GNR: "Amen" » 74 weeks ago
Please…I think Duff only wrote one line in Civil War.
After Lies was released, people were saying they could be the next Rolling Stones. Civil War comes out and it was more they could be the next Led Zeppelin.
Then, they drop the Illusions and clearly went more towards Zeppelin with multiple epic tracks.
Those were the days….now we try to dissect the meaning behind what ….oh, nevermind.

Correct…..google Axl Speaks …article from Rolling Stone Feb 3-2000. The interview took place in December 1999. The 12 tracks he played for them were obviously some of the locker leaks
