This sucks.

Rest in peace to an absolute legend.

I think this thread is a bit of a stretch.

Why?

It's their logo run through a Photoshop Filter.

It takes no time or talent.

GNR is selling a shirt which is simply:

The Guns N' Roses logo... run through a filter in Photoshop.

You mean you didn't like the majesty that was The Plague?

I think there's probably 1 album in the can, that's it.

Who knows what UYI stuff is out there. I think they blew their wad with the AFD box set because they knew it was their last shot.

#396 Re: The Sunset Strip » What Are You Listening To? » 247 weeks ago

Death metal, jazz piano, and classical opera.

The way God intended.

I hate the idea of blockbuster movies and biopics and all that bullshit.

It's nonsense.

It's 2020 and if a movie track is up for grabs it's going to PopThot 2021 or Rap Guy #3080.

Release music. If it's good, people will listen to it.

If it's middling, your fanbase will be pleased and you'll get a paycheck.

Just... do it.

1.Dissolve the band, no one needs to see this embarrassing circus in concert again.
2.Release CDII/Stay Of Execution unaltered by Slash/Duff.

This would be my play more or less:

1. A final album, combining 95-96 vault material and new songs by ASD
2. Rebrand CD II as WAR, Axl becomes a branded solo act, does select gigs but mostly a studio act moving forward

And bonus common sense stuff:
3. Release all CD era stuff in best quality ie: House of Blues, etc
4. Classic era stuff released regularly

I also like SundanceKids idea of bringing in someone like Buckingham. An artist working with an artist.

What do you do?
