Ok, so we are coming up to the period when the earlier gossip suggested that announcements might start happening for Europe (end of October/when the SA tour starts), so we will see what happens. Obviously the Hellfest info suggests the middle of November, and other gossip suggests December. I still think Hellfest will not happen. I think they have had a good look at it, but there was a story out today about budgeting, and from what they were saying I am not so sure. I think they have gone with someone else, but we'll see.
The dates that we listed from that ticket web site seem to have taken on a life of their own. I think they are educated guesses, but some of them will probably be right, probably more June than July, but we will see. I think if you throw in some of the venues that 'f**k Coldplay' are playing, and that Bruce Springsteen played last year, then we will have something closer to the truth. It'll be interesting to see how it all pans out.

If GN'R play Download, it appears it will be the Sunday with Alter Bridge second. AB is set, but I am still getting that GN'R are not over the line yet. There has also been rumblings about Sonisphere looking into GN'R playing for them next year, which we guessed earlier anyway. There has also been further gossip that GN'R will play Vincente Calderon in June. I am not sure where it originated though.
GN'R are expecting the same kind of money that Bruce Springsteen expected for his 2016 tour, so there could be some parallels there.

Fuck Coldplay.
It's more the GN'R reference that is of interest. They got a presale related message for GN'R instead of Coldplay before it got amended. So GN'R must be on their system somewhere ready for when things go live
Also, the Livenation Coldplay is interesting. I think it is fair to say the concerticket.net dates are educated guesses. Other dates mentioned by other sources, Milan, Lyon, Paris and Vienna along with their respective venues are all being played by Coldplay so I believe they give a good template for the Summer, beit not a complete one.

People registering for a presale of Coldplay tickets in Germany on ticketmaster.de got a message referring to GN'R and not Coldplay, before it was later corrected.

It's still amazing how GN'R worked with AEG/Goldenvoice for Coachella, then jumped ship to Livenation so quickly.

Given Hellfest, randomly, is more probability than possibility now, here is some addition info.

FYI Metallica have been ruled out by Alexx of Hellfest. Alot of other bands have already announced. There are a few possibilites, but it is fair to say it may point to GN'R. It could also give an idea as to when the announcement will be, after November 8th
I am still not convinced it is GN'R though.

Two (light) headliners announced for Rock AM Ring.
To re-iterate, GN'R are currently locked in on three festivals, Rock AM Ring (RIP), Download UK and Hellfest (randomly). There are no solid links to any other festivals apart from offers at this time, so the rest of the dates could be stadium dates
