They'll continue for as long as they can. What else are they going to do? If the US dries up there are other markets.

At least it will give them a kick in the butt when it comes to doing something.

Yes, reality tv. A couple of different shows. Of course the person eating doesn't have a job, and the family don't appear to employed in any high paying job either.

Just a question for you Americans.

You see these gigantic fat people in all these shows and I'm always wondering where does the money come from? They eat 5-10 times that of a normal person, every day. One show the family went out to buy TEN pizzas for their meal. On their way from the restaurant, the father had already managed to scoop down 2 full pizzas. I think they cost 10 dollars a piece, so that is a 100 every day just for the evening meal.

If I spent more than a 100 each day in food I'd go broke fast.

Absurd and Hard Skool did not perform to their expectations. I think that is the most obvious reason for the shakeup in plans. It would be a safe bet to say they have abandoned that type of release strategy.

Since they are intent on releasing something that can only mean some type of album package. If Slash was being accurate when he said there were a handful of CD songs left to release, they will have to write a handful of new songs to call it an album.

Almost nobody reporting this huge news. That's the modern age for you, anything really news worthy gets buried.

The EU demands that all private and public homes shall become fully energy efficient by 2050. Zero emission. Starting in 2030 you will have to upgrade your home in the order of $ 100,000 to meet the preliminary requirements. If not the bank may be required to call in your loan, and insurance might no longer cover you. You are not allowed to rent out, and any potential sale will have to deduct the upgrade costs from the sale price. Then further upgrades will be required until the impossible target of zero emission is met.

Eventually owning your own home will be a privilege of the very rich and government officials. I'm pretty sure they are going to go for the same thing in the US.

Imo this is just your personal taste talking. I don't think any of those songs have much hit potential.

This is a fantastically underrated album:

Him being happy and comfortable enough to do this is a good thing I agree. I'm just nitpicking. Maybe they'll surprise us, there are after all songs ready to go as far as we know.

I am not prejudiced against pop. Phil Collins is one of my favorite artists. The problem is Lady Gaga isn't really writing any of it. She's just the face for the brand. Got To Be Real for example is a great song, but I'm not giving Cheryl Lynn any credit for writing it. I can give her credit for the voice, but then again anyone with a good voice could come in and sing that song. It's not Axl Rose level voice magic.

Serious artists, whether they be rock or something else, should not be associating themselves with these low grade acts. It would be like Gordon Ramsay teaming up with McDonalds. He shouldn't even be teaming up with Five Guys.

You're right it doesn't have a noble origin, but then again what was pop/rock music before they started doing that? Art is perhaps one of the things where a personal connection to the work is more important than anything else. Or at least to put your own spin on it, like GN'R and KOHD. Lady Gaga doesn't even have her "own spin". There is nothing to separate her from the producers who make her music, because she's just a face and an average voice to make money for the record company. Coming from a rich, well connected family probably helped too.

They give writing credits to Taylor Swift as well. But the common theme is a bunch of industry people are credited as co writers one every damn song. They are the real writers, along with the producers. Imagine if every song on a GN'R album was written by somebody not in the band? Take a look at a Prince album, the type of writer they are trying to pass off Lady Gaga as, he wrote most of his songs all on his own, like a real song writer does.

Gaga and Swift might write some half assed lyrics, doesn't take much today, but the songs are clearly not written by them.

Artists write their own songs. Lady Gaga sings, does appeals for Hillary Clinton and shows off her ass.

If you want to talk about voice we can mention Mariah Carey. Now she can actually sing, but that is still no excuse to do a collaboration. You can put Pavarotti in there and it would still just be weird and wrong.

What is more typical of 15 year old boys it to say these chicks are great artists because they look good.
