Hahaha. And we'll need 50,000 gallons of gasoline.

On a serious side, the is obviously a topic close to his heart.

I suppose this came out when I was away - in May?
Metal Sludge had this comment -

"It will be interesting to see is a Rose produced movie can be released quicker than a Rose produced album or Rose produced video. Hey, whatever did happen to that video for 'Better'."

Which is ... pretty funny.

1.) If it gets distribution/middle-scale release, I wonder if there would be a soundtrack album released?
2.) Would this be the best chance to get any Chinese b-sides?

I'm glad I didn't see that when it came out.

What 'that "Stolen bike" thing' ? Was it a MySpace bulliten?

Instead of a boycot, if you're a friend of GNR on MySpace, just send them bullitens. "Mediocre writer, who maintains inactive band's derilict website and Myspace, to sign a book that's years out of print."

Maybe he'd get the idea.

What about stolen bikes? I must have missed something.

#435 Re: Guns N' Roses » Guns N' Roses New Myspace Bulletin » 826 weeks ago

Wow. So lame.

GNR has to be 'so careful' about things, and things just 'never go right', even though they really, really, want to keep us updated. We couldn't get a video up, or any of that footage of concerts we already shot, no. We need to be very careful and strategic.

But some really LAME spam-like plug, that was approved NO PROBLEM.

That, in the wrestling business, is what they call 'burying'.
Wow. Wow, wow.

I think he parks cars on the tennis courts. Some of the ariel shots show that. (Don't know if this Microsoft-sourced one does).

I think the take away quote is "you can't be a fan if you can't see the band'.

I mean, yeah.

Indeed, Dominican Republic.
'Majestic Ellagence in Punta Cana', kind of a shit hole, I don't know... you can make any place look good in pictures, but if you're scared to eat the food and then you get sick... not much fun, even if I drank Pina Coladas all day.

I was on vacation in the DR at one of those resort places and they had a karaoke night. I was the second person to go up...

So when I go up there I tilt the screen to the side and they say 'you don't need?' and I say 'well I won't need it much'... I then move out to the center of the open pavaillion.

This was the best karaoke setup I've ever seen. Great PA system and wireless mics, big screen with a LCD projector, and a flat-screen for a lyric monitor.

And there was about 100 feet to move around.

So I was doing the Axl moves the best I could during the introduction, I ran around...

I didn't need the lyric monitor much, just to know when the promt was to go back to the chorus or verse.

BTW - I'm sort of out of shape, but running around and dancing makes things REALLY hard to sing. I did a 'good job' but had I stood still I could have been better... but... it wouldn't have been as fun!

So the "crowd" (packed... most successful activity they had that week) went crazy. It was totally one of those unexpected moments that raised the bar for the night. Normally most people just sing... I 'performed' wink .

The next two days I had people calling me by name and complimenting me - that was a LOT of fun! smile
