#431 Re: Dust N' Bones & Cyborg Slunks » Weiland Arrested Again » 916 weeks ago
Yep, that was health reasons.
Also the Japan dates
Nov. 26 - Zepp - Osaka, Japan
Nov. 27 - Zepp - Nagoya, Japan
Nov. 29 - Blitz - Yokohama, Japan
Nov. 30 - Nihon - Budokan - Tokyo, Japan
I think those shows in Japan were cancelled a bit before this incident happened. The visa excuse still seems fishy.

Alot of thoughts crossed my mind while reading this, but the one that stands out to me is how lame Weiland's actions are here. The guy has everything in the world going for him & he can't stop himself from driving around all fucked up. I don't care if he wants to snort his life away, just don't get in a car & put innocent people at risk.

Dubrow beating on retarded stoners......what a meathead. He was obviously jealous of Adler's hair.
#434 Re: Dust N' Bones & Cyborg Slunks » Latest Duff Interview » 916 weeks ago
JB, its certainly possible that Duff is referring to things going on behind the scenes that isn't on the forums. We already know by some of the actions by Beta and the official site that they sure seem a little too concentrated on Slash and the past, so its not far fetched that they are talking shit behind closed doors.
Exactly. Obviously, "The Letter" had quite a bit of 40something millionaire trash talking in it for one. And these guys all live, work & sue one another in such close proximity, that there's bound to be gossip shared that never makes it into print. For all we know, Izzy could be a double agent.

It's horrible that cool guy like Dubrow passed before his time, but this question has been nagging at me since I started seeing all these pics of him. Not to be insensitive, but did he wear wigs?
#436 Re: Guns N' Roses » Baz: "Axl really wanted CD out this year (2007)" » 916 weeks ago
Sebastian Bach: He was talking about finishing liner notes. I don't know what happened. I don't know why the fuck it didn't happen. I know it wasn't him.
These four sentences pretty much the CD project in a nutshell.
1) Axl thinking about maybe finishing something.
2) Nobody knowing what happened.
3) A nutswinger saying it must be someone else's fault.
#437 Re: The Sunset Strip » Another reality show exposed as a scam » 916 weeks ago
My favorite "reality" shows are the VH1 ones were they have a bunch of ho's thinking they're actually going to get to marry people like Flavor Flav & Bret Michaels. Then you see the reunion episodes & the girl that won never even spoke with the celebrity after the final show! Like Bret Michaels is really going to marry some pole dancing slut that he sorta met two weeks beforehand. Those shows are golden.

Years ago, HTGTH was my introduction to GNR fansites. This was before VR, before the VMA fiasco & while I was still genuinly interested in what Axl was up to. So I register & was just flabbergasted to see all these miniBeta's just discrediting everything the originals had done. I mean, there was kids, lots of them, who obviously thought Axl was GNR. That he had written every lyric, told the others what notes to play & basically was the alltime greatest human being......ever. I've seen people start threads there asking if anyone thought Axl had ever tried drugs! I guess I just always found that site amusing & at the end of the day, that's what all these sites are for anyways. It was great to see all these kids, who weren't even around to experience the GNR hysteria, posting as if they had managed the band & knew firsthand what had actually gone on. This post isn't slamming Axl, it's just describing my HTGTH experience. Because, as anyone who was around in the late 80's knows, no one in GNR was a humanitarian or standup guy. That's what helped make them the worlds greatest Rn'R band.

Here's a snippet of what our media has come to. MSNBC won't even show footage of WTC7 collapsing. They invite a physics professor on their program, he sends them a video of WTC7 & they won't let him make his case as to why he thinks it was brought down by controlled demolition. Tucker Carlson says a tank of diesel fuel caused a uniform collapse of an overbuilt(research this) 47 story office building. It becomes even more interesting when one realises what offices were located in WTC7. I hope people decide to look this up themselves. It's pretty interesting/scary.

Oh yeah, MeatLoaf is great. I've never owned a cd or anything, but his songs are definitely unique & fun. I also like him in whatever movies parts he's had.
