Wouldn't be so bad if we knew there was an album ready for release end of 2013 and touring US was to build up hype, I agree though it does seem like a reason to avoid the studio. Maybe the constant touring is a way to keep Axl same these days.

Hopefully this project will build some bridges with the label and give them more confidence in the band.

I would have a lot more respect for Axl if he released an album by the end of the year. It's a great opportunity for him to capitalise on the tour.
