Bad ass trailer. As Beavis and Butthead would say: Yeah! Yeah! Fire! Fire!

It appears that Daft Punk's new album "Random Access Memories" is on track to give the electronic duo their very first No. 1 album on the Billboard 200 chart.

The album is projected to sell upwards of 300,000 copies by the end of the sales week, reports Billboard . The new album is also on target to have the second largest debut sales week of the year behind Justin Timberlake who sold 968,000 copies of his "The 20/20 Experience" its first week in stores, according to Nielsen SoundScan.

The duo also said in a recent radio interview with BBC Radio 1's Pete Tong that they plan to do something they have never done: remix their own music.

"We're working on some mixes ourselves, so yes, there will probably be Daft Punk mixes of Daft Punk. Usually, we never mix ourselves, that's something we feel we're interested in doing this time. The first track we're remixing is 'Get Lucky.' That will be out by the end of June."

I haven't even listened to the Black Star Rider tracks yet, still catching up on my Thin Lizzy. Fucking loving them though.

Definitely an interesting guy. Love him or hate him, one thing is for sure, he's having a lot more fun than you are, lol.

(Classic Rock) Black Star Riders guitarist Scott Gorham and frontman Ricky Warwick have discussed the relationship between their new band and Thin Lizzy, the outfit they developed from.

In the video, Gorham says: "I see this as a completely different band. We can shoot off in a multitude of directions. We can do anything we want to; and I can see us doing just that."

Warwick, speaking as a Lizzy fan, has a slightly different take on the situation. Black Star Riders released new track Kingdom Of The Lost earlier this week.

They're gearing up for the release of debut album All Hell Breaks Loose on May 27. They tour the UK and Ireland at the end of the year. Check out the video interview here.

(Classic Rock) Van Halen frontman David Lee Roth has reinvented himself as an action hero in a four-minute video clip. The Japanese-language short has been posted to YouTube under the auspices of his regular online Roth Show and the file is called DLRmovietrailer, but it's not clear whether there's a longer version in production.

Roth is seen preparing for action as three card-playing thugs laugh at him, assuming he doesn't understand Japanese. Eventually he draws a gun and says: "In the name of the moon I shall right wrongs and defeat all evil." The next scene shows the aftermath of his shooting.

The singer – who recently admitted he'd love to welcome Michael Anthony back into Van Halen – has lived part-time in Tokyo since last year and recently confirmed he was in a relationship with a Japanese woman, saying: "She's half my age and it's no longer a legal issue." Watch the video here.

Indeed. I can only add that not only did they keep on trucking, they stayed relevant with hit singles and best selling albums.

This doesn't look good though. I have no doubt they've gone through stuff like this before, but this is the first time it's ever become public.

Still, more solo projects by Richie and Jon doesn't sound that bad to me though.

Lol, a little before my time. My sister went to a show during the NJ tour though. I still have the t-shirt, I stole it when retro t's became popular. Looked really good on me 30 pounds ago.
