I only learned from this thread who robin is(other than nin guitar guy) im not a fanboy of the new band as i was in the 80's 90's ..most i have seen of new gnr is download fest 06? from youtube. as well as mtv 2002. I thought robin was the guy with all the tatoos and the black les paul. 

I wondered who the guy was with the leg problems and couldnt stand to let a note linger without re-picking it I noticed somewhere a while back with his picture in it saying "wow even jesus is in gnr now!"  in his defence some of the old and new stuff sounded good from him.  The "BEST SOLO EVER" posted earlier here i couldnt watch all of it.  He left got pushed out w/e.

The thread was to learn more about dj really.  ive heard all the youtube stuff back to his solo self named no vocal work. I didnt get into everything but he may fit in  well w gnr.

The only guitar guys that i liked everything they played was slash AFD-Snakepit and izzy AFD-first juju hounds.  Were not getting that back.
and im not as into there newer stuff...taste change...so will axl..and everyone on this bord. If youre into anyone other than axl for his voice your likely to get dissapointed by anything in the future from gnr.

I feel you on the live show thing. Im hopefull this down time is to allow DJ time to learn all the G&R songs, and let the contract with best buy run out so Axl can re- release CD properly.

Im shure G&R down time pays way better than SIXX AM touring shows 2x a night! I figure as long as he is not bizy with guns he will be working with them. Everyone has some side gigs except Axl.
