But I believe it would be divine justice for Dave to get a proper copy of The Blues 2002.
Poor guy has been wanting that for 11 years now.

I'm going to start the stream in one hour. Anyway, it won't have sound until the show starts because they'll take it down. We had some problems with that when we did the Apollo stream

Guns will be the next rock band at the Super Bowl in 2019.
Guns N' Roses playing the Super Bowl is the ultimate sell-out move.
It's 100x worse than their $300 t-shirt fashion event, especially considering Axl's past comments.
I also don't see the play. Why? To promote a new album they won't have? To play for free to advertise for fucking Pepsi?
If they do that, fuck em for eternity.
And besides, Axl will be on tour with AC/DC until at least through 2020.

Axl fronts two of the biggest rock acts in the world and has controlling interest in one.
Angus holds the keys but Axl could volley back and forth between them for at least a decade. Axl's market value will only continue to increase.
The next tour ups the ante with GN'R. They don't have to release a new album but a new album means a bigger tour, more opportunities, and more money for all involved. It depends on what they want to do with the thing.
I think the politics are too strong for any new music to ever be released and am not convinced Axl has the band to do it but hey, surprise me.

Interesting soundtrack. I queued this up awhile back purely for the Buckethead / Finck songs.
As for the movie, not Carpenter's best work by any stretch of the imagination.

My feeling is the same.
I really like the album because it’s diverse and interesting.
But it has a horrid mix, no narrative through-line, and I really dislike some of the choices, namely Bumblefoot’s solos.
It feels like the first part of a conversation that never got properly started so it’s a shame we never got part two.

Gosh, I can't believe I've been following this saga for so long?! (even a year or two prior) It's mind boggling in that they essentially released 1 album and all in all toured 2 or 3 times (06-08, 09-11, Reunion) and I'm on these boards religiously?!
It seems like forever and a day.
Like wtf. and I'm not even a big fan of the album, haven't listed to it in years. I gotta put it on YT this weekend while I'm cleaning up to revisit it.
Imagine loving the album and being obsessed by it. I am cursed.
