The guitarist's 14th studio album lands at #42 with first-week sales of around 11,000 copies, marking his highest US chart debut in over 20 years.

Very cool. Can't wait to download that bad boy tonight. Can't believe they moved on so quick, but good for them. Hope this kick in the butt gets Scott back on track.

Disc one could be a lot of bands greatest hits

Lol, and the rest of them could easily be a stand alone studio album. I can't believe I overlooked these for so long.

I guess a part of me dismissed it as rarities that weren't good enough for the albums, and I never gave it a proper listen until recently.

I've been listening to Lost Highway a lot lately. I still think it's a bit too country for my tastes, but there's some good songs on there.
Whole Lot Of Leavin' has a great groove, as does Any Other Day. (You Want To) Make A Memory is a really good ballad too.

And, We've Got It Goin' On, is a hell of an anthem. I like that album, and I'm not a country fan either. But it's so subtle that I barely distinguish it from BJ's usual blues based sound.

I wouldn't say fine.  Power to the big ladies and all, but no.

I listened to her first album today and it did absolutely nothing for me, so I'm a little less excited about the follow up, but still excited. Just not sexually. smile

Sammy is working on a solo album, and the dudes from Chickenfoot (minus Satch) are going to be on a few track.
