The more appropriate title: the unreleased Chinese Democracy booklet.
But we have seen it.
The Chinese rollercoaster artwork was never officially used. That is a fan mockup.
The previous art before the Chinese rollercoaster was not officially used by the project. A very similar variant by artist Shi Lifeng, was.

I don't see much Bucket / Praxis in Chinese outside of the overall trademarks, save Shacklers.
I do see shades of Machete in the TWAT solo though and that would somewhat make sense given the chronology.

I'm a big fan of Pitman but really dislike his laser synth intro here.
I wish Axl's vocals on the chorus were less processed. Really good performance, fun to listen to.

Indeed it was. GN'R fans have a knack for chasing away legitimate leads but accepting outright fraud or obvious illegitimacy as being above board. I need only refer to the debacle last year about some shitty cover musicians Instagram account. Christ, the stupidity.
Well of course they got banned because team Brazil knew the lyrics were real and didn't want the song leaking so the person got banned before they could share it

I don't know why they were banned. I cannot say.
I can say that Del outright denied legitimate lyrics I asked him about. Merck famously denied Jackie Chan wasn't GN'R.

what's the exact story behind those 3 songs?
The company line when Better leaked was that it was an early mix sent for the keyboardist to learn their parts. It seems instead of sheet music or any sort of centralized company knowledge base, the tracks themselves were passed around like a groupie at an afterparty.
I would go with that.
The other option is that the two channel splits could be for someone to put on headphones so they can hear what they're playing against. So if Bumblefoot was recording something while the band was on tour, you email over the file. I seem to recall Axl asking former guitar players to play him things over the phone as well.

I think technically first Sorry thing was from HTGTH poster demolition posting the lyrics. And then we connected the dots later.
Prostitute only discovered via the set list pic and was played back in 2002 as the piano intro to November Rain under our noses.
If The World was talked about from same picture and actually played as the Rolling jam.
So egg before chicken. Maybe.
My question: new code names real or not? New songs or just new code names?

I think the core of the record has stayed relatively solid. TWAT, IRS, The Blues were mentioned from 2000 to 2006. I think there’s a bulk of the record in Axl’s mind as being mandatory.
I’m open-minded to the mystery angle but it seems a little out there. Sorry, Shacklers, Scraped came out of nowhere. The only reason is because of Baz’s mouth on the first. Point, just because we don’t know about it doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist. This even entertaining Seven is The Blues and Thyme is TWAT, etc.
Soul Monster, The General, Atlas, Jackie, Oklahoma/Berlin all have noted sources. Add old ones like Oh My God and Silkworms. There’s half of a record. And going back to Baz, he doesn’t say 4 albums of material just out of nowhere. It’s less as you’d probably expect so let’s say 2 albums and the remixes?
I don’t know. I think more leaks should be posted so we don’t have to cackle like hens.

Oh, definitely.
I was just referencing that they leaked multiple times. You had 2006 leaks and 2008 leaks that got a lot of public plays and buzz.
They were effectively the lead-up singles.
Releasing them as true singles in the middle of winter? That’s gonna go over like... Chinese Democracy.

Worse, they released the single with that intro. As the first single off the album. DJs probably listened to the first ten seconds, went, "when does the fucking song start?" and then chucked it in the bin. The first thing sent to radio stations should've been Better. The second thing should've been TWAT. One punchy, catchy rock song with an instantly recognisable hook, one gigantic November-Rain-a-like orchestral ballad with showcase solos for each of the two main lead guitarists. Simple.
The single was so half-assed. I mean they didn't even have unique covers, disc art, or anything. Gah. What an embarrassment.
They could've even focus tested styles! Here's the punk version, here's the ambient version, here's the classic version.
It was never going to happen but TWAT, IRS, and Better all should've been removed from the album or considered to be the undercard.
