And now a word from our sponsor (not me):
A small file this is, so a small poem too.
If Ric Flair was listening, we think he'd scream "Woo!"
The Nature boy was class, many people he creamed.
But really, no comparison, to "The American Dream"
Today it was two, tomorrow there's more.
The time periods are going to be worth waiting for.
Don't stress and don't cry, we've got your back.
In reality this whole situation is all kinda whack.
Cordially,
The Chairman

If you have a G.A. ticket, print signs that say "ATLAS SHRUGGED" or "HARDSCHOOL." Write it in huge letters with a Sharpie if you have to.
Photocopy it about 50 times, and when you are in the venue, hand out copies to everyone around you, giving them instructions to hold up the signs at a certain time, like when the band comes back for the encores.
Please tell us what happens. Maybe we can shock some life back into the setlist.

AtariLegend wrote:Axl's biggest fault here is that he didn't tell them to go fuck themselves and force a release anyway. Which is ironic.
Do you wanna know how he could've forced it's release?
Leaked it.
The nanosecond it hit Napster, Geffen/UMG fast tracks a release.
Boom. Exactly.

James, for the record this may be your best thread ever.
We're all going through the same thing as you. Shock. Confusion. Delight. Wanting to send Bob Ezrin to Mars.

How am I supposed to work with all of this going on!?
#486 Re: Guns N' Roses » Rough Mixes Disc 1 » 300 weeks ago
Our friend apparently wrote ...
Ahh here it is, one that you've sought.
More to come, like it or not.
It won't be tonight, we'll tell you now.
But you won't have to wait long, anyhow.
GNR Girls, Llamas and Punks
You all are awesome, the chat's a slam dunk.
Too many to name, and force it to rhyme.
The reality is, we ain't got the time.
Keep being great, keep being swell.
Its stuff like that that unites us so well.
Unless of course, you work at 'the bell.
in which case we hope that your life is hell.
Just so you know, in this set to go.
The lyrics are scarce, but the music doth flow.
It doesn't mean we're done, not by a long shot
This ball's in a new court, like it or not.
Cordially,
The Chairman

Meanwhile, in downtown Rhiad, this message was shared ...
Maybe one, maybe more.
It seems the rough mixes are what you adore?
This is such a tease, when does it stop.
Never we hope, drop after drop.
Tonight, after this, one more for the road.
Just another random item from a motherlode.
"No make it stop! I want to sell!"
Our message to you is "Just rot in hell."
Cordially,
The Chairman

As The Poet has written (in the message with the "Blues" folder) ...
Oh wow, there's more! Did you think we lied?
The only way you weren't getting this was if we had died.
The spazzing behind the scenes is hilarious to see
Because for those hoarding dweebs, its always "me, me, me!"
That beaver poem request? So many things we could say.
But we'll take the high road.. they look like cunts anyway.
With those silly buck teeth, and their tails spread out wide.
No wonder Wally hated his brother, when you take it all in stride.
The question is what's next? Should we just answer that here?
Not quite yet, but we still appreciate the various offers of beer.
Don't worry Mrs. Axl, we see what you say, too.
Also, thanks for being patient as we see what else we can do.
Hoarders make us angry.. and you wouldn't like us when we're angry.
Cordially,
The Chairman
(P.S. Bill Bixby was indeed a national treasure. And friends with Elvis.)

Tell me, where’s our generous friend?
The one with emails poised to send.
Thoughts of EQ’d toms excite.
“PRL” without “Thyme”? Delight!
We knew that “Black Frog” published songs,
Now “BLK/FRG” DATs are rock’s King Kongs.
This is not a drill! “The Rebel”’s not a mix!
So now we wait for our musical fix.
So thank you, unknown benefactor.
You bring the songs we all are after.
Namaste.

Thanks for all the kind words.
