I think it's due to the vinyl delay, it's adding 6 months to alot of releases where vinyl is relevant
Granted, but didn’t Slash say at the start of the year that the single/s would be out in the summer? That would’ve been plenty have time to sort the vinyl out.

By all accounts the song will be released as part of the UYI boxset which is due imminently. I agree that the song will need a revamp because the version I’ve heard is pretty shite. I think it was left off UYI for good reason.

Tellingly, Jarmo at HTGTH has recently commented that the SA and Asian crowds haven’t seen GnR live since the HardSkool ’EP’ release. Jeez, anyone would think they’re touring a record!
There’s still a chance of a new single this year I think. Not holding my breath through.

If it's literally out of the GNR camp's hands and we're just waiting on movement from the label, it's good news...even if we have to wait months.
In any means, I have found their contact at Universal, so I will maybe get something from that.

"It's" being a new album or the 1 or 2 songs Slash mentioned?
They have rerecorded CD material, to be released gradually then as an album.
FFS at this rate I’ll be buying the record with my pension!!!

It does kinda make me wonder what the label might be waiting for though. Surely the label would be itching to get the song released as soon as it’s handed over, particularly as the band is touring right now
