Best Buy seriously fucked me over.
Some folks got their copies today. Mine hasn't even fucking shipped yet (it's supposedly going to tomorrow), and I was told that it might not be here until the 27th - to add more insult to injury, I paid for expedited shipping as well.
What's the point in pre-ordering it if it's not going to be here until a week after it comes out in stores?

It's funny because I ordered my copy IMMEDIATELY when the pre-sale page went up, and yet I haven't received my confirmation. I'm going to be seriously pissed if some people get it early and I don't get mine until next week.

I haven't downloaded the leak and I won't. If Best Buy is on their game, my copy should be here early anyway, so it shouldn't make a difference.

My Verizon webmail has been screwed up since last night, so I can't exactly check to see if mine shipped, but I'd have to assume that it has since it seems like everyone else who pre-ordered it has received their confirmations today.
I also paid for the expediated shipping, so here's hoping that I have it by Friday.

Had he actually signed up using the name Impostor or something mysterious, I MIGHT be willing to buy it. However, he signed up here under the name Azoff, and he was also in the cd.com chat room impersonating Azoff.

I'm feeling really bummed out but madagas and Big Bri are right. If we got to January and nothing had changed then the pessimism would be valid. For now I'll stick with frustration.
I'm not even frustrated.
The album is coming out.
The single is a smash at rock radio.
There's been a decent amount of publicity.
Besides the facts that we don't know who the third guitarist would be for a tour and that Axl himself hasn't spoken yet, both very minor issues for the time being, what is there to be negative or frustrated about?
Would you rather the silent era of 2003-2005?
