Interesting..I just watched Coachella then the old Tokyo dvds and I it seemed to me there was more improvisation in the new version and that the old one was pretty close to the studio.

Vegas Reunion Night 1 - April 8th Show - Slash is messing around on guitar before rocket queen and plays a lick with a sort of reverb thing happening that is very like the opening notes of rhiad.

original matches backing/orchestration better and this is the song I looked forward to hearing slash's take the most. I think slash would come up with something better in the studio and will do so live if he continues to tweak it but right now i vote original.

There's no need to make things up that he's dodging Izzy, which isn't tue. Trust me, if Izzy wants to get in touch he knows how.
