when was the last time where the proshot was more or less without both technical and voice problems? probably RAR 2006? (and that one was maybe the only one during post-1993 era?

because releasing and this band quite doesn't work in the world of GNR. what did we get in the last 24 years? count with me: 1) OMG single (1999), 2) ChiDem album (2008), 3) AFD live thing (2014). and that's it. funny thing is, that maybe only the live thing got out somewhat normally, without idiotic delays (more or less, it still got out almost 2 years after the show itself) and piles of nonsense shit all around.

I didn't really like this Ragnar guy before, but increasingly I understand him more and more. sad times, but I can't see much light at the end of the tunnel. the hopeful days are gone. after-UYI years, 2000-Intentions years, 2001, 2002, 2004, 2006, 2007, 2009, 2010, 2011... damn, that's a long time ago, so many wasted years.

There's also the curiosity value of busting out some more Chinese Democracy tracks, of course - it's interesting to hear what Slash and Duff do with them. And there are some belters in there; Prostitute, Madagascar, I.R.S.... I'd rather hear them than The Seeker again.
no, please... don't rape IRS... no... the song is just made for a guitar freak, and BH with BBF nailed it. the current lineup has no guitar freak, so better keep this shelved.

the problem is just maybe, that if you ask the casuals about GNR, trust me, by far most of them say... ohhh... yes, that's the band that plays KOHD! and maybe LALD. fucked up.

that is very valid thinking, JL. something that would be more in the spirit of their 80's setlists might be the only way to improve the shows at this point. I'm just quite sure they won't do this - this spectacle means more $$$.
btw, there was that Up Close and Personal Tour, that one had a bit stripped down production I guess... but I wasn't following the band during that era so I'm not sure how much that differed from the previous and following tours.

This band is done for good. If anyone expects anything from them, they need a reality check.
I've always thought Pitman was right with the money grab thing (not that it wasn't a money grab for some years before already anyway)

haven't checked that yet. but I guess it was even worse than RIR 2006 and 2011 combined, with a snippet of RIR 2001 added on top?
