Wow.  That's... kind of funny. LOL.

Sorry is an unexpected gem. Alice In Chains / Ozzy (think No More Tears / Ozzmosis - not the last album).

Scraped reminds me a lot of Dont' Damn Me and Dead Horse as far as the spirit of the song goes (those are favorites of mine). It's a very defiant rocker.

This I Love is very differant than Estranged and November Rain. The musical textures don't come out because of the damange of the file - buts it's a piano driven with very upfront vocals. Don't expect walls of symphonic bliss. It's a piercing vocal effort - very high vocals, very SMOOTH.

Catcher took, for me, an unexpected turn. They added more guitar and bass when I thought a cleaner version of the demo we had would have been great. But it's Axl's art and not mine - I think I'll like this version, it just takes time after so many spins of the old demo.

Street Of Dreams/The Blues - it changed somewhat, an additional guitar in the beginning, and he puts some lyrics into his 'ahhhh ooh ahhhhs!' at the end of the song.

Just to be fair - these scratchy leaks - out before really any review or serious press or promotion has set... no one wants the next blogosphere entry related to GNR as 'MORE GNR LEAKS' and have them be about these crappy things, or to have the next Yahoo! GNR article be about songs leaking--- before anything's started like normal bands do. That's not really going to help the band or help the things we'd like to happen, happen - it's just going to be a lame distraction and muddle what's going on with the single, the marketing campaign, and the official reviews.

I guess I'd rather have those leaks tightly discussed in the back room like this - where people talk about the music and things - than on MYGNR or CD, where people may be swooping in to get some kind of lame scoop.

These are some slow news days right now and leaks that are well-spread and talked about would BECOME the news as far as Chinese is concerned. We've already read plenty of reviews that talked about the leaking and the circus more than the music itself.

That's just how I feel about it all, anyway.

BUT - Street Of Dreams (Skip/Bad Leak) has extra lyrics or words added to the 'whoooa ohh ohh oh!' part at the end.

Can't fake that.
